    Washed and detailed the truck and installed the DL3 mirrors and PGamboas’ mirror harnesses!! Lovin’ it! Next up only 2 more mods to the interior (heated steering wheel and swap wood grain trim for off-road carbon fiber). Thanks again Phil!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sent the truck out to a professional undercoater. Got rid of all the rust, hit it with corrosion-x inside and out then sealed it inside and out with this stuff. Not sure exactly what kind of coating it is.

    Dropped the truck off to Ziebart to get the rusty frame fixed. Spraying with Corrosion-X before getting redone. Complete under body and all upper body panels as well getting completely sealed and rust proofed. (Hood, fenders, doors, tailgate etc.) can’t wait to see this thing when I get it back Thursday!     I don’t know what they are going to do yet. I won’t hear from till either late this afternoon or tomorrow unfortunately. If they do a frame replacement should I just fight to get a new truck at that point? All the trucks I’ve had over the years I’ve never had this kinda problem with GM

    Well dealer called me about my frame. I guess the dealer is going over the entire truck now with a full analysis. Checking every bit and bolt in the process so they can send off everything to GM on what to do to proceed to fix the rust. Guess they found a lot more then the pic I posted it sounds like ...also they were starting to tear down the truck late afternoon. Should I be worried?

    Taking my 18 Sierra to the dealership to have the frame rusting issue fixed (hopefully). Truck has 5300 miles on it and frame, shocks etc starting to really rust. Not a fan... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Had the front doors tinted. Just 35%. Didn’t wanna go darker as I’m getting older and don’t need anything crazy dark. Might darken the back window a little more though. Plus I won’t have the cops messing with me here in Michigan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Agreed! I did this to my 15 Silverado a few years ago but the 18 I have now needs this upgrade. I feel your pain in that part being a pain!!
