  1. Thank you! About to get air bags in back as my dog box sags the truck a hair. Perfect size imho for a 4x4 truck
  2. Ya I like the subtleness of the factory wheels with some meats On them
  3. Nope. So far all is clear somehow. All I got is the 2.5" RC level/lift depending on who you ask. It's a level to me. No front wheel spacers. Was nervous to say the least. Fits like it should.
  4. Adding a few more pics but can only do 1 at a time.
  5. Well got tires on the old girl this morning. Discount matched a tremendous price on 33x12.50r20 nitto mud grapplers and I jumped on em. 30,760 on the factory tires and the RC 2.5" level. No rubbing I can see or feel lock to lock will update after some more flex and Offroad tests. Teaser
  6. Resurrection ! Hey what offset are these all terrain wheels? I believe my stock 20" SLE wheels are +25 tomorrow I'm getting 33x12.50r20 nitto mud grapplers installed have had my 2.5" level on for 30K on factory tires. Time for some meats though.
  7. That "bent out of shape" it wasn't really intended for anyone just at everyone. Catch my drift. I'm a firm believer in "to each his own". But I'm entitled to an opinion as well as you and the next 100000000 dudes. Just so we are clear! Also to your engineering comment, yes. Exactly 100% yes. Guys expect to retain factory or better their ride quality by going taller and bigger tires. Not really going to work. Lifts were designed with 1 thing in mind. Bigger tires and more ground clearance. Want a good plush ride run on air bags or hydraulics. Magna ride and what have you. You want bomb proof suspension go boxed uppers and lowers new axles and fiberglass fenders. Widen the stance plant the suspension where it needs to be oh and of course huge oil filled coilovers. But also pay the big $$$$$
  8. For durability and usability IFS will never be as good as straight axle, In my opinion. My next rig will be another jeep. As for these trucks. The fenders kill it for tire and wheel usage. Trucks from the factory should be slight front rake with helper springs or air bags in the back and 33" AT light truck tires vs all season P rated. Just pitiful. For $40k plus I feel robbed sometimes. The lack of off-road ability in these new trucks with traction control and weak shifts and lack of rear end options or actual truck gearing really sucks 4wd should disable tsc so you can spin the tires clean. Kind of silly to limit power when it gets soft and squishy. This is just My .02¢ Don't get all bent out of shape I like the 4" and 35 look but again if you cross any ditches or levies, or flex the suspension in general, I feel some damage resulting from tire contact. Dude I'll take a set whenever you feel like your ready to sell. Or donate them to a good cause!
  9. How are you doing it? Powder or paint? What's the specs?
  10. Dude that looks sweet.
  11. Update: Well, went and laid under the truck for a bit, Pulled a tape from furthest front of frame inside-inside 28". However they did change how the bracketry attaches the steel bumper shells to the mourning brackets and that kills us for width in that gap behind the license plate. Now I see why that shop built the guys $1k mount and "inverted" (Top Gun) his winch. So I'll go back to the drawing board. Try to figure out how to make something that fits in the space provided that the DIY guy can handle in a evening with cold beer and uncle Proto, or craftsman the choice is yours! They distance from the inside of bumper behind the license plate to the pipe cross section support/cross member that is partially covered by the plastic skid plate may be what changed from MY 13-MY 14 but I can't confirm this. If you have one or access to one please get me this info! Other than the factory bumper brackets screwing us up the RC support brackets and the base would fit just not with that bracketry taking up 94.3% of the space in that gap. I will find the solution! This is the driver side looking from inside rail to outer edge. Shows the new style bracket This is the passenger side from inside to outside. Bolts on opposite side, (outside) Look exactly the same as the inside of driver side picture.
  12. What tires are you running? I have same level no bounce or anything but I'm also still on factory 20 and 275/55 factory Goodyears. Best ride would be with fox or icon coilover set up. Even that will be stiff feeling though. As far as caddy quality. Go back to stock and get some bilstiens set to factory setting. Be the best ride. But for a litter or level truck it's no plush and comphy ride. At least from my experience. This is truck number 14 in 10 years. All lifted or leveled.
