  1. It doesn’t have the latest module.. so I’m guessing 2017. When I get time, I’ll throw the 2018 module in it and test it. I use a cable myself and a mount, so having wireless charging are for those times I just throw my phone on the lid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t know how this would void your warranty. The mirror kit they installed are physically the same as DQS. The only difference is that DQS Mirrors weigh more, have a power fold motor, and support memory. So, if you have an LTZ/HC, SLT/Denali, you would have lost memory features and power fold with that mirror kit they installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. One final thought on this... I picked up a lid from an Escalade Console. My iPhone XS Max (with an Apple leather case) fits the mat! So naturally, I placed them side by side and it looks like a direct fit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If the lid doesn’t have the mounting studs to accommodate the module, you’ll have to get a lid that already has a module. One thing to note, unless you’re getting a 2018 lid, you’ll need to swap the any previous version module to the 2018 module. In my explorations on various lids, I discovered that the double white stitched lid I got that came from an SUV console had the smaller mat similar to the ones with modules. This is when I learned that GM made a “Delete Wireless” model of lids. This meant that the studs to accommodate a module were there. See the video I made on this here. Lastly, I have designed a harness that will nicely pull 12V from the rear 12V cig lighter outlet for $45 that will plug into the lid with the 2018 module. Looks like this. 5. No worries. I also need to find some time clean up the first post as it seems that the context got jumbled up somehow. To answer your question.... Yes - you will need new harnesses. For DQS Mirrors, I can get them from a supplier for $1058 shipped. That’s the out the door price. Mirrors can be either black textured caps or chrome. Harnesses are $285 for the set. I do refund $100 if you send me your factory harnesses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I don’t have any Used Manual Fold Mirrors. I’ve got a set of take off Power Fold mirros I was planning on installing on my truck. I can get a new manual fold set for $495 and $555 (black / chrome) shipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I do not. That rear panel has more to it than what most would expect. That HDMI Input relies on the the Aux #2 input ingest that occurs through the DVD Player. So if you don’t have the DVD player, I’m not sure how you would ingest that signal. Also, there is a different USB cable routing that is needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Factory Key Fob Fold - No. not very easily anyway. I did the complete Seat Memory retrofit and added it, but that was a large undertaking. Aftermarket Key Fob Fold - Yes. I have incorporated an aftermarket module that is heavily integrated into the driver side door harness. There is an added cost of $150 for this. It also requires a circuit that needs to be delivered to from the cabin junction box to the driver door (I provide all that is needed with instruction). One thing I didn’t like about the aftermarket method - the module lived inside the door panel. Water does naturally get in. I had two modules fail on me. So I had to use a ziplock bag (LOL) to keep the 3rd one from getting wet. Since retrofitting Seat memory, I have moved on from the aftermarket method. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have seen and worked with both sets. You are correct in that the models between 1A and AM Auto are identical. Essentially, you have two models. With memory (and bonus puddle lamp), and without memory (without puddle lamp). The reason the one without memory includes the “power fold kit”, is because they assume it is going into a truck that doesn’t have power fold. With memory trucks, power Fold is usually already present. You’ll be tossing their power fold kit in the trash as you’ll use the OEM Switch to keep things OEM. Note - that with either models, there will be some work needed on the mirror side connector. On the memory model, there will be one disconnected wire that needs to be landed. On the non memory, there are two wires (the two for the power fold) that will need to be landed. If you get my PnP harnesses or DIY Kit, I supply provisions for this. Hope this helps. 10. No worries guys. I don’t think they can be deleted, but wanted to offer a better way for your stuff to be seen. Many more will go to the Marketplace looking for stuff to buy than will to this post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If you guys have mirrors to sell, please use the Marketplace. This thread is over 100 pages and adding posts to sell your stuff takes away from the content that most are looking for.
  12. You might want to look at the Marketplace to sell your mirrors. There are more folks that will browse the marketplace for items for sale and have a better chance of selling there. 13. In the first page is this post . They are $285 shipped anywhere in the US. $100 refund when you send me your factory harnesses. All plug and play for your year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I build the harnesses custom for each truck and the mirrors you’re installing. Not all tow mirrors are created equal, so validate each build and build accordingly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Check your phone settings and ensure that CarPlay is linked for use on your new phone. I had to do the same when I upgraded to the XS Max. Settings -> General -> CarPlay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. This is because GM shares the same slots for different options. For example.. the turn signal will work fine, along with power adjust, heat, and any memory options. The running light will behave as your puddle lamp instead of a true running lamp. This means it will only come at night when you unlock with the key fob as opposed to follow your headlights. Lastly, your cargo lights will not work because on the driver side, slot #2 is used for one of the dimming circuits and on the passenger side, not present at all. So if you are ok with a partially working tow mirror, you can plug it in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Keep in mind that there is a backup lamp circuit... that when added, will disable the dimming when in reverse. This is to ensure your view is not compromised when reversing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just add power to it. Pin # 2 of the mirror needs 12v to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It’s his forever truck. . But we can always revert back if necessary. Our parts piles are getting out of control. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The Red LED indicator in your truck now will be handled via the new HUD/display with this retrofit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
