  1. Pre Pretty big leap going political. Political Correctness is when you stop doing something for fear that it may result in someone being offended by way of potential association. Being compassionate is when you refrain from rubbing shit in someones face. I do not think the OP intended the post to be bad, nor do I think we view it as something that should be offensive to everyone that has lost someone to a vehicle accident. Given the information, the vehicle as-is in the photo shows the temporary casket for 2 members of a family. They likely do not want to be confronted with the image on the news or any website, so it is compassionate to not help propagate it. Heck, I do not think some of the community would be any where near as concerned/bothered if the photo was of the truck opened up after the bodies were recovered. To be politically correct, we would demand that no accident photos be published. The point is we can be compassionate without "surrendering our flag."
  2. Today I drove my truck to work, which just does not happen that often (driving it, not going to work). Washed it. Renamed it to "Christine." It was the "Road Bullet" for years, but since it no longer tows heavy and is lifted, the name just does not work. Christine came to me when I walked behind it today to find that once again, the left license plate light assembly was hanging from the bumper. I have replaced it, verified the bumper is not worn, etc., but yet it still drops out every now and again while just sitting in the driveway. So, now Christine can do "whatever" while parked, and I will just accept it. I also wiped the front lower bumper down with Wipe New Trim Restorer. I did the other plastic on the exterior a few weeks ago and it is still looking awesome, so I decided to take a few minutes and do the front bumper. The bumper was not faded like the mirrors and rear step were (sits in the sun all day), but it did have some white spots from waxing. Now she looks good again.
  3. Or get one that is awesome - Dans Auto Digital, Rated up to 300 PSI +/- 1% with lifetime guarantee. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014DDHMRS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Not cheap, but you only buy 1 unless you lose it.
  4. Which MaxiSys kit did you buy?
  5. Saturday: Made custom mounting rails for installing 2 Alpine PWE-S8 subs, 1 under each front seat. Sunday: Installed a dual-amp wiring kit, 2 subs, and 2 tweeters. Result: Awesome without even seeing the subs unless you go looking, zero loss of cargo space, and off-road worthy without worrying about bouncing a sub box around. edit: can't eat speakers so changed them from tweaters to tweeters.
