I still have everything factory in my wheel wells. No rubbing with zero lift and the 275/60/20s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. People with 33 inch tires?

I just installed 275/60/20s on my stock '15 Sierra without any issues, and a friend with 265/70/18s on stock... If you go with the 285s you will probably not have to have a 2" lift, but you will need some trimming done for sure.

I would guess you will be fine with your set up. The only area of concern would be if you get a flat. If it's in the back, you'll have to rotate a front tire to the back and put the spare up front for the no slip transmission. Should look awesome though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

For those curious about tire sizes... I ended up putting 275/60/20 Cooper ATs on my 2015 Sierra 1500. I currently do not have a leveling kit and do not have any rubbing issues. I was going to go with a 2" RC leveling kit and 275/65/20s, but saw some pictures where they were rubbing. I didn't want to risk having to shave back wheel wells for an extra inch of height. I may still put on a 2" leveling kit, but it is NOT necessary for the 60s. The pic is on a slant in a field. Will take a better picture on flat ground!
  5. 275-65-20 tires with 2" Level

I ended up putting 275/60/20 Cooper ATs on my 2015 Sierra 1500. I currently do not have a leveling kit and do not have any rubbing issues. I was going to go with a 2" RC leveling kit and 275/65/20s, but saw some pictures where it rubbed on the GMCs, but not on the Silverados, which made no sense? Maybe it was the terrain difference between the two? Anyway, I didn't want to risk having to shave back wheel wells for an extra inch of height. I may still put on a 2" leveling kit, but it is NOT necessary for the 60s.
  6. Does anyone know if there is something special you have to do for the tune to recognize my k&n CAI? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. My diablo will be delivered today. I'm hoping to get rid of the lag that I have when I get on the gas pedal... The only other mod that I have made is the K&N CAI. Is the lag due to the 4 to 8 cylinder switch, or is it a gearing ratio that I need to change? This is my first tuner as well.
  8. 275/65/20 questions

I have the same question. I have seen on another page someone commenting that the 275/65s do rub the liner in the back of the wheel well, but they were able to zip tie it back a bit to get it out of the way....
