    Oh I whacked it good....believe me. Weird.

    Tie rod popped right off and probably didn't even need it off. I also used a 5lb hammer on the ball joint knuckle. I figured being so new it would have come right off.

    Man I wish mine went that easy today. I could not get the upper ball joint free on the passenger side. Hammered the hell out of it and even tried a ball joint release tool (pickle fork) but never got it free. Brand new truck and I hated hammering on it like that too. Ended up putting it back together. Any ideas out there??

    A 2" leveling kit should leave you with about a 1/2 to 1" rake with stock rear.

    I had that problem with a Corvette and it was the vent line between the two tanks that caused it. Apparently they got kinked during manufacturing. My '17 Sierra tops off without shutting off but I've only put gas in it twice.

    Nice choice! I'm biased though. How long will it take?

    So far I like it. Seems like it's learned my driving pretty well but I still only have 700 miles on it.
