  1. They put me in a 2017 malibu. I was so glad to get my truck back.
  2. Every time I drive mine I try to get up to 80 if road allows. I keep feeling like I'm going to get a ticket lol truck is running good with low vibration. i have 3500 miles on it now. Its been in the shop now I guess twice and out of sercvie 6 days. If the vibration returns and its obvious and bugs the hell out of me I will park it up there A** and be looking for lemon lawyer if they dont do a buy back. Have you tried a buy back yet tarter? Sounds like you have really gone through many repairs for that new truck you got already.
  3. How do you know what your buying if you dont test drive anything? I work hard for my money and that being said I dont want to waste it. I bought it knowing its going to be mine and i will get it use out of it for years to come. Sounds like you should look into leasing. Thats just my opinion ;) I just wish I was more extensive with my test drive and maybe I could have avoided the problems.
  4. This should apply for any truck you buy even if its a 17. Yea there is deprecation from it being a year old. That means you should be able to get much better deal for a new truck that is basically the same thing as the new 17. Op you should make sure to adjust for the 'year old' off set and be ready to get the price down. They need to sell those 16s and get them off the lot.
  5. I drove my 2001 5.3l for 11 years. I pulled a heavy bass boat and i never had any trouble with the engine. Loved it. I would go with the 5.3because im a fan. i've never drove the 6.2 but the eco tech on the 5.3 now is very nice and you got plenty of power in the 5.3.
  6. Well of course. My perspective is I would rather spend 31k @48months loan with 3% rate vs much higher amount with same rate for basically the same truck. Google play wasnt worth it to me ;). I plan on driving my truck the full term of loan and till it has 200,000 miles like my last one. )
  7. Good Year Wrangler SRAs I belive. They were the exact same tires that were on their. I'm not a big fan of these tires. I had a flat first week with the orginal tires. Small peice of metal. Then obviously with the vibration with less than 1700 miles on the vehicle. I just hope it was fluke deal with the tires. They did sit on a lot for over a year.
  8. So far so good with the new set of tires. Im really having to try to hard to feel the vibration. I got around 50 miles on it since I picked it up. I been getting up to 80+ trying to get it to vibrate. Its like I almost want it to vibrate again to proof to my self its a drive train component. IT was like night and day the vibration I had in it. Soon as I hit the 77 mark I could feel it. Now I'm having a hard time really feeling it. Hopefully its gone for good.
  9. I bought a new 2016 z71 double cab for 31000. Sticker on it was like 44k. The only thing different from the 17 and 16 was maybe google play. I went with the 16.
  10. So kinda what I thought. Front Axel engage but truck primarly uses the rear axels inless rear slips or etc. I dont know why the guy told me it was just a higher gear in 2wd. So basically auto would be good for raining/icy/ etc. Drive payment just run 2wd? I drove my 2001 silverado z71 for 11 years. Never had to use "auto". Either 4wd L or H or left it in 2wd. I'm still trying to figure this new truck out.
  11. I'm not sure what else you wantto hear about it. They put new tires on it. That was recommend from the GM engineer after he looked at the pico results. They did another road force on the new tires and pico and it was all in spec. I've drove it 50miles now and its seems to be gone. I filled a glass of water up which helps me see it shake and its smooth. Before it was so obvious I feared the worst ...especailly after they did the first road force and rotation and balance on tires. Hard to belive that new tires were already bad. 12. Its not that big of deal to me. It was in Auto when I bought it and I asked a guy that had the same truck and he said leaving it in auto is what you wanted to do. It doesnt say 2WD. I think its 2 with a down arrow. It does say 4 auto it just say Auto then 4H and 4L. He told me the AUTO was basically a 2 HI. My old z71 was labled Auto 4wd.
  13. I got my truck back from the dealership coulpe of days ago. I had problems with the vibration and they put a new set of tires on the truck. I didnt notice the vibration which was a relief. I did notice they switched my knob to auto. Can anyone explain the differencei n auto and regular 2 low? Thanks
  14. Truck seems to be running good. I did notice they turned the knob to 2 wheel low from "Auto". I put it back in Auto because that what I heard you want to drive in. Anyone have an Idea on that?
