GM has sent out notice to update my wife's 2024 Sierra SLT software with OTA update capabilities. Prior to updating the software, I would like to know what other capabilities it gives GMto monitor driving habiots, ect. and who would have access to it(Ins. companies, law enforcement, etc. Thanks, Bob It appears they are going the same direction as Tesla who can monitor and hear everything.

I had read on another forum that one person found that he loosened the gearbox, drove around a little and saw how much it had moved, retightened and that had alleviated his issue. I sent GM an email, attaching the one I had sent when I only had 43,000 miles when it originally started to show up. The responded asking some questions, so I sent them a copy of the RO I had from them which stated NPF. Waiting for their response now. Bob

I have steering issues with it locking up while backing into a stall or pulling out and the steering gets tight and hard to turn. The dealer states no problem found. I have read some posts and think I may try the steering box, loosen and retighten. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated 2500hd 6.6l Duramax completely stock 93,000 miles

Does anyone have an answer of fix as to why the blue tooth will no longer make calls from my wife's Galaxy S8. I even paired my Galaxy S5 and it was the same issue. It will allow incoming calls but will not use the phonebook and make calls, just comes up some four digits it "assumes" you said. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

I have checked with Napa/car quest/o'reilly , etc. and everywhere online and no one carries it. Thanks, Bob

Not actually it is all in one piece and still in the bottom of the column. It has a lot of play in it, I pulled it apart once and greased it but to no avail. I have replace all the other components below that which are available, the entire front end including king pins and I am currently in process or replacing the steering box, not available new, only rebuilt so I went with ACDelco rebuild after reading reviews on the others. The only thing that will be left is that bearing, and I might take it out again and maybe turn sleeve to fit between it and the plastic it rides on or if it is easy enough I can manufacture the entire unit. I just don't want the truck down while I am manufacturing it, may take awhile. BoB

No one seems to have it, I will probably go to a junk yard and see if the have 95 c3500hd when I can pull it and reman it myself. Thanks for the input. Bob

Doe anyone know where I can get #60 in file attached ,Part#26052238 (bearing,strg shf lower) which has been discontinued by gm or someone have an old one still together or a gm print so I can fabricate one. I don't want to pull the one out that is sitting in there on my truck because it then becomes undriveable until I get the new one fabricated which isn't a quick thing.
