  1. Had this same issue on our 2015.5 GMC 3500HD, numerous times and very frustrating. Dealership did serveral updates and calibrations with no resolve. We would turn off the display only to have it reactivate itself and start flipping screens or scrolling. Best way I found to fix it was trade it on our 2017 Silverado 3500HD, no issues since.
  2. I went back to a 6.0 due to the fact I did not utilize the Duramax enough to justify it and my concerns for my long term owning of it. We just towed our Jayco 284BHBE travel trailer for the first time with the 2017 6.0 (1500 miles on odometer) and it did fine but definitely a difference with transmission kickdowns on very minor hills (Duramax had none). Mileage for this trip (120 ea way) a couple years ago with Duramax was 13 and I got 9.5 with the 6.0. I can not recall weather conditions for Duramax trip but this trip with 6.0 was cruise at 60 with minor to moderate hilly terrain and no wind to speak of.
  3. I pull our travel trailer (34' 8000 lbs +/-) and notice it sometimes. I've borrowed an Aluma trailer with upright ramp and smaller enclosed trailer and for whatever reason I could really feel them back there. Who knows, weird aerodynamics or whatever. My pickups (duramax or 6.0) didn't have any issues pulling but I could just tell there was something back there. It's not always about the weight.
