  1. I did check the third brake light and sealed it even though it looked fine. It's tough to tell where the water is coming from but it almost appears it's somewhere in the middle. The first spot I typically see water is right near the B pillar but this could be from the wire track or loom or something it's running down.
  2. Was having issues with this forum for a bit so didn't post my water test results but it's back up and running. I went out with a hose and for about 5 minutes would soak the truck, I did this about 4 times with about an hour between doses. I could not see water running or trickling anywhere so I stopped spraying more water. I went back out a few hours after the last spray and of course saw water accumulating with no water lines that I could see to trace where is was coming from. I have not sealed the cabin pressure relief vents (or whatever they are called) at the rear of the cabin next to the bed. This might be my next step but I'm not sure as it's still leaking but doesn't seem as bad. I actually already sealed the connections behind the passenger fender like 14LTZ suggested, this includes where the antenna comes in to the vehicle as well.
  3. I've read so many different posts on similar issues with the K2XX but still don't think I've fixed my issue. The weather here isn't great until the end of the week but I've "sealed" a few more items and I'm going to do the hose test later this week. Symptom: Passenger side carpet and padding (front and rear) soaked all the way through Condition: Occurred from vehicle sitting (parked) for a few weeks during some rainy days. Vehicle always parked with nose higher than rear of vehicle. No sunroof on my vehicle. Investigations done: So far I've checked for a plugged AC drain and found that to not be an issue. I sealed the passenger side wiring harness boots, both the door and the one behind the fender just below the cowl. I feel like what's remaining is either the windshield or maybe something with the cabin air intake? I've sealed the shark fin antenna even with it being on drivers side just to make sure. If anybody has other suggestions I will gladly accept help. I really don't want to tear apart the inside of the vehicle too much but if water test doesn't reveal the location of the issue I'll probably need to do this next. Thanks for any help!
  4. Hi buell438, Did you find anything that fixed this? I'm having a similar (possibly same) issue Thanks!
  5. I couldn't find the connector from the BCM. I looked where everybody was explaining but couldn't find it so I just wired up 12v from fuse block. Which by the way pin 27 is constant 12v...I've now changed to pin 37 and replaced with a 20amp fuse. Pin 37 should be switched as stated in the service documentation.
  6. Is there an ideal ground post on the drivers side? I'm thinking my problem is coming from a bad ground. Thanks all your help
  7. Thinking higher amperage or just another circuit? I ran with 16 gauge to pin 27 currently on drivers side fuse block
  8. So finally got mine wired to a 10amp switched circuit. It will now turn on for about two seconds and then turn off. Anybody had this problem? I can turn it on over and over for the two seconds so fuse is still good
  9. Going to try and tackle this same job on my 2014 Silverado tomorrow. I've never swapped a clock spring before....any advice? Does the new clock spring that I got from GM Parts come already centered or do I need to center the clock spring myself? Can't wait for a heated steering wheel!!
