  1. I always drive in Sport mode. With more driving, I am finding the initial response when accelerating is much quicker now Lou
  2. Use them for five or ten years They are not that expensive. Personally, I use the Nissan-style copper crush gasket. Cheap insurance. https://www.amazon.com/Oil-Plug-Gasket-M12-11026-JA00A/dp/B0CLK8DJ9C/ref=sr_1_5?crid=31RKF2Q9BQ34D&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.n7LO0yuE9gUA9cYg4C4IdGrYxriZOSPHfVzma-4yho3CtgfFKt440K3d49D0IqFdWeTy2jLQaXQJmqfEFAjGAqZLKYzxysMq2qWcVzjj2WqAIx5Fj_yoFzY7hIEAmzuwS02h9caBl-8yS8HGeT1qcWffk5_VdwNvaLR7n4abuWpjbXLXbyjVuuwqAgCEzYo3tMPlhgXv65iDtRwg1gwCH-gVKHF7WzSVt-pvXY52lNs.jEefPzBZBdGY8_sTVeLhs-3LpW--G00nxSzDF0a3-fA&dib_tag=se&keywords=copper%2Bcrush%2Boil%2Bplug%2Bgasket&qid=1777927861&sprefix=copper%2Bcruch%2Boil%2Bplug%2Bgasket%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-5&th=1 Lou
  3. I can't answer your question, but my guess would be no. I added power-fold mirrors to my 2022 Silverado 1500 using a kit from Boost Auto. Operation is a bit klunky, but they work fine with no hiccups https://boostautoparts.com/products/2014-2019-power-folding-sport-mirrors?year=2018&make=Chevy&model=Silverado 1500&options= Lou
  4. I keep it in all the time. Perhaps I should explain why I have a 5.3 Silverado, and I have added a catch can. The two hoses go directly over the oil fill tube. Filling with oil turned out to be a real pain. The extension separates the two lines to the catch can and makes the oil fill much easier. Lou
  5. I have added an extension tube: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0987RV9ZC?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_14 And I use this instead of a funnel: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MRQ9LCW?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_16 Lou
  6. Will a headlight from a 2023 Silverado 1500 LTZ work in an LT? Lou
  7. Or use Waze Waze shows the speed of your vehicle, and when you exceed the speed limit, it shows both your speed and the speed limit. That was just one of the reasons I switched Lou
  8. Why not get leather seat covers? I have Clazzio covers. Lou
  9. It's not metal. Lou
  10. I'm in Casa Grande with the FlowMaster 717893. I'm here if you want to drive down. Lou
  11. The mirrors use existing switches. They come with three new harnesses and two modules. The door panels are removed, the mirrors replaced, and connections made to the OEM wiring. Took me a day, working alone. Lou
  12. Installed AlphaRex Taillights and Boost Auto Folding Mirrors: Lou
  13. Put this in my 2022 Silverado today. My car has a full size gas pedal, the truck did not and my foot would sometimes slip under the pedal. This fixed the problem for me Lou

  14. I put Clazzio Leather seat covers in my current and my last Silverado, Folks say it looks like OEM. I say better, because you have options Lou
  15. I have a 2022 Silverado 1500, same seats as HD. I put Clazzio leather seat covers front and rear. I had Clazzio on my previous 2011 Silverado. Nice fit and look better than OEM. Recommended https://www.clazzio.com Lou
  16. Not going to respond to the shock question, but to the tire question. If you want just a road machine that handles almost like a car I recommend the Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport. I had them on my previous truck and liked them so much, when I got my '23 Silverado I sold the OEM Generals and bought the Dueler's again in 285/60/18 size. But, checking Tire Rack, I see they are no longer available for 18" wheels, but only for 19" and above. It is a summer tire. I luv 'em Lou
  17. I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Sport Mode". I use it all the time. I feel no lag with my 5.3 Lou
  18. I put Huskys on my Silverado, Easy Pesy Lou
  19. For Sale '23 Silverado Wheels and Tires. New Truck take offs. 60 miles on the set of four. 255/75/17 General Grabber HTS mounted on Alloy Wheels. Located in Arizona. $1,000. [email protected] Lou
  20. I put this into my Silverado Dbl Cab, fits both Dbl & Crew. Install is OK and once in it is very sturdy and roomy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087KP1S42?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Lou
  21. I just bought a new '22 Silverado dbl cab. Truck was built in 6/22 and had four miles on it. Dealer just got it.
  22. Sounds like the pistons were not retracted. As far as cutting the rotors, in my experience rotors do not warp. They may build up high spots from pad material that can be machined or sanded down down. Lou
