  1. Changing stock D5S bulb

Once I pull that cover I’m sure I’ll seen the lines youre talking about.

Where’d you get the relay harness? I might message the guy and see if he sells them as well.
  3. Changing stock D5S bulb

Yeah I don’t want to drill much at all. There is 2 sided tape on the ballasts now and the mount I believe. New light caps are $20 up here I think. Did you notice a major light output difference though?
  4. Changing stock D5S bulb

These were suppose to be 55 watt ballasts and lights.
  5. Changing stock D5S bulb

I haven’t decided to drill or mount anything yet, and don’t wann burn up my harness. I am almost thinking of sending them back...

    All good Dale.
  7. Changing stock D5S bulb

The ones I got are HID’s as that’s what we’re OEM in mine. I was told the LED’s won’t have a good output in mine.
  8. Changing stock D5S bulb

It’s a generic video how to drill the dust cap and such. You can find a video to change out the D5S on YouTube as well.
  9. Changing stock D5S bulb

Here is a link to video on how to do it. https://youtu.be/oF06C-zEKfo

This is a pic of the kit. The ballast is hard to see but it’s normal size width, but slim.
  11. Changing stock D5S bulb

No, unfortunately not a chance. I watched a video of how to do it yesterday. Don’t look hard to do. I might just get a second set of dust caps in case I’m not impressed and want to return to stock.

Kinda what I figured by looking at the pics. Kinda caught between a rock and a hard place if I wanna mod it to fit or not.
  13. Changing stock D5S bulb

Ok guys, so update is I got the lights. I didn’t realize it was a full ballast kit and all, nor was I clear on the morimotos if they were or not. So these I’ll have to drill a hole in the dust cap to have the seal work. It’s going to take me a bit more time to get them in. Should a guy have a relay kit for them or no?
  14. Changing stock D5S bulb

You’re after them for the same reason I am. Lotta late nights on highways. Not always fun to have eye strain looking for your next target lol.
  15. Changing stock D5S bulb

Let’s see what shows up for me. I don’t wanna get anyone tooo excited about these and them fall on their face or someone get screwed outta buying them. The guy seems decent for sure, but I’ll let the lights speak for themselves. I’m sure if they do pan out I can send a lot of business his way, and I’ll keep you informed. I’m used to running HID’s in my 06 and the factories in this 17 of mine is shear disappointment.
