Due to an injury at work, I have extra time to reupgrade my Black '88 4x4 that I promised to my son for graduation. I had a 383 stroker built in it for me, but he was a new driver, so we removed the 400 crank and went with a higher torque less HP cam to ease him along. We rebuilt the 700R4, transfer case, and I lucked up on a 14 bolt corporate rear end in good shape so we went with matching 342 Richmond gears and Auburn lockers.
