Pulling the fuse seemed to help mine settle down a little bit, but didn't fix my issue... Mine went absolutely bezerk one night, constantly extending / retracting until i pulled the fuse. it still kicks out on it's own, but usually stays out (or goes in/out a couple times, then stops). The button to extend it to the tire also quit working... that was the first issue i had, then about 6 mo later, it developed a mind of it's own.
