  1. My 16 Burb only does it when towing, I towed lawn mower in hot weather and my wife said "drop me off at the bus station, I can't take this for 4 hours". Towed my tractor back in colder weather and no shake ?
  2. Want to have some fun, go out on twitter or FB and make some comments or complaints and copy a link to these posts. You can tweet to @chevrolet your issues and watch what happens next. They first they will tell you is how sorry they are you're having issues and then tell you to DM (direct mail) them so they can discuss your issues. Look at @chevrolet on twitter, they do this to everyone who's got a complaint. Their PR department wants to keep this buried, they did this a couple times to me and I called them on it, no transparency, the last thing they want is this to go public or viral...#ChevyShake
  3. Dealer replaced motor mounts on my 2016 Burb, harmonic vibe, feels like ruff idle too, there is a bulletin on it.
  4. Are you sure it's the Shake/Vibration or is it what I call engine rumble, I get engine rumble that is caused by the lag in shifting from 4 cylinder to 8 mode. Try putting your information display on the economy display that shows V4 and V8 status and at low speed apply some gas, see if you get engine rumble when in V4 and it goes away when it switches to V8, also you can put your trans in Manual mode and select 5 or 6 gears, this will keep it from going into V4 mode.
  5. I got a 2016 Suburban February and it doesn't vibrate until I hook up a trailer, shakes worse when towing on fresh blacktop then concrete, when I towed my tractor back from cabin in north WI a few weeks back it didn't shake. Your comment got me thinking, aluminum absorbs heat, and when it is hot there is less strength to it, could it be that blacktop is much hotter then concrete and we have much colder weather here now? Hot driveshaft is weaker then a cold one?
  6. I traded my 07 burb with 190k for a 2016 burb with 28k, GM certified, I've got 38k on it now, this is my 8th Suburban. I've had the motor mounts replaced within the first month and had the truck in for transmission shifting issues that they say are just normal. I don't get any shake issues with this until I hook up a trailer to it and there it is. It starts around 60 mph and up, gets worse on new blacktop roads. I've got several other trailers and the truck shakes with all of them, feels like the drive train/shaft is going to fly apart. It's a 4.5 hour trip to our cabin in north WI, my wife and daughter expected we were going to break down the whole trip. I'll be taking this to the dealer with trailer this week. I don't expect a fix, and I'm really considering dumping it and GM.
