  1. GM did a re programming after the battery change - they said lots of functions may fail if not reprogrammed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. One thing I love about my other car ( 2015 f150 ) “only one thing “ ,when the battery is low it gives you like 2 days of continuous notification and alarms that the battery is bad - not die all of a sudden like this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Almost all the cars batteries I owned runs exactly 1 year , you guys are talking about 3 or 4 years which is for me is a sci fi [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Vs original Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Update - GM dealer will send a free break down to take the car and replace the battery - I will pay 50 percent of the battery price as per them since the car is still under the warranty . Tried to jump start ( using my F150 ) but the car won’t start ( cable is good as tried before ) so GM is on the way . Pretty good service imo Thanks all - btw the batteries they use here is ac-Delco . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I live in the Middle East so it real hot here not sure if this extra heat decreases the battery life Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi , bought my car ( Sierra SLT ) new on August 2018 , today the battery is dead which is less than 14 months life cycle . Is that normal , any idea what will be the warranty on battery of a new car ? I have no additional lights or electric modification that can consume the battery . Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks , it is readylift 4 inches ( factory suspension ) , 17/9 fuel nutz wheels - 315/70/17 tire Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have active grille in mine and the grille was swapped without issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You mean the active grille ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes , did it on my SLT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Tires are 315/70/17 bfg on 4” lift and there is slight rubbing . For the 2 inch you want to get , it is a leveling kit as your rear already higher than the front by almost 2 “ , if you are going with this setup don’t increase the size of the tires 285 is your correct size . I saw the same setup on other cars and they have 17 inch wheels and 285 tires on a 2 inch kit . And yes fox is way better than other shock . Good luck . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks ! It is readylift 4 inch , using the factory suspension Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Forget about the shipping cost as I live in Qatar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. There are better alternatives ( again from point of view ) as I’m also using my car mainly on road and slightly off-road - see the pics and I will tell you about the alternative ( also since you bring up the tire size ) you are planning for new wheels , right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It will work and this the link which matches you 2.5 lift http://www.socalsupertrucks.com/bilstein-leveling-2-5-lift-shocks-2014-2016-silverado-sierra-1500.aspx#.XAaKSxZRWaM But let me ask you why you want to spend money on a 2.5 lift kit ? It is up to you but 2.5 lift is mainly a leveling kit not a lift kit , for the money and effort you will spend go to 4 till 6 and get a king shocks or fox - again it is your call Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Don’t worry , I was asking exactly the same question 5 months back when I was lifting my truck . Shock absorbers can’t lift a car by itself , you have to put a lift kit and then choose the correct suspension which matches the height of the kit ( each suspension has range of inches which can support ) if less it will not fit and if the lift kit inches are more it will damage the chock as it will be stretched . I searched the net and till now I can’t find one matches the range of your 3.5 lift kit - What is the height of the chicks on your latest link Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The shocks in your link will not fit your car because it will fit till 2013 cars in addition that it will fit cars with lift from 0 till 1.75 inch front and 0 to 1 rear You will find another bilstein shocks that your car model and in the range of 3.5 inch lift kit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. How many inches is your lift kit ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I know it is not easy but actually they did a very good job ( all the mods were done by the local GM dealer ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
