  1. Try a different dealer. Any Chevy store should do this possibly under warranty. My flush was covered under the 5/50k power train warranty. Use M mode and command 5th or 6th gear as the highest gear to use until you are at higher speeds.
  2. What are the short term and long term fuel trims? Random ST can be harness or abs wire.
  3. I changed at 500, 1500 and every 3k, oil is dirt cheap if you DIY. The cam sensors need clean oil for long life.
  4. Nothing official yet but I think the 2.7T well be a option. I may even have the 10 speed trans.
  5. Sounds like solenoid timing to me. The "shudder" feels like driving over rubble strips on the hiway. Google "8L45-8L90_ATRA.pdf" Down load and read the document. It walks you thru the driving mods to rest the solenoids.

  7. These trucks are known to freeze up the AC, no cold air, it thaws in 20-30 minutes and you have cold air again.
  8. Adding a CAI does not void warranty. Adding a CAI does not require ECM programing. Adding a ported Throttle Body does not require ECM programing. Adding a Cat Back does not require ECM programing. High Performance MAF sensors are snake oil (LGZ engine). The ECM is capable of learning these tiny changes and adjust in a few hundred miles.
  9. My 17 ZR2 did this the first 100-200 miles. Trans hiccups, Stabilitrac light, CEL, no codes set, no problems since.
  10. Gen5DIY or mod the OEM switch, YT is your friend.
  11. JET markets a high performance MAF, it just OEM with a JET sticker. The 3.6 MAF is fine with all but a supercharged engine. With a super charger you may need to rescale the MAF in the ECM with tuner software.
  12. My 17 ZR went 3.5 years before the first shudder. I got the flush done right away and it's been smooth for the past six months. To much driving with the shudder can damage the torque convertor.
  13. I installed the Soler TB 2 weeks ago. My android "Drag Racer" program shows a minor decrease in 60ft and 1/8 mile times, but could be atmospherics. What I really am impressed with is the drivability in the 0-50% throttle area. I had a occasional hesitation when doing a rolling stop, just for a split second. That is gone. It's playing well with the Trifecta tune, 4.10's and 33" tires. I also have CAI intake and Magnaflow Overland cat back. Fuel mileage is unchanged, my mpg is solely dependent on my right foot. I can get 12-17mpg in town depending on how I drive. Only you can decide if the improved drivability is worth the $275.
  14. Mine was strange during the 500 mile "learn" period. I use the Trifecta tune and trans performance is perfect. 2017 ZR2 8l45.
  15. Relentless high clearance, you cut the bottom of the fender off. Not there...no chips.
  16. Three years of rocks, gravel and mud on my ZR and no chips, yours must be special.
  17. Normal. Cam shaft not "parking", Hi pressure fuel pump. I few owners have had a bad lifter, I'm one of them, lifter well get to the point of noise all the time, the dealer can then figure it out.
