  1. So I haven't posted on here in about 2 years. The first and only real issue I had with my truck came weeks after getting the truck in 2019. The lock control solenode would not click and I could not get the truck out of park...this resulted in a replaced Gear Shift Assembly. Now there seems to be a very dangerous flaw in the Auto-Stop/Start feature. When I come to a stop in traffic / at a red light, the truck obviously will turn off. When I let off the brake, the truck will start up and slowly roll until I start to press the gas. If I start to push in the gas pedal almost half an inch to and inch with my foot off the brake after it starts back up, the vehicle immediately throws me back into my seat and rapidly accelerates. I immediately have to slam on the brakes to stop it from hitting people in front of me. This has happened probably 3-5 times in the last 3 weeks. I have 9 months left on the lease (12k/36 months) and 19k Miles on the truck. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this issue.
  2. For those who see my earlier posts on here, I ended up getting a 2020 AT4 and had to replace the long FM Antenna with a stubby antenna to fit the truck in the garage.
  3. SOLUTION: Part number included.
  4. Update: I was supposed to hear something today or entirely get my truck back today. I clearly am not. This has become such a joke.
  5. My dealership couldn't replicate the issue and then I got in the driver seat and got it to do it. They took it in for recalls, ran diagnostics and found the issues with a malfunctioning module tied to the shifter interlock. Get them to take the vehicle in, run diagnostics and find out if its that same module as mine. Hell I'll give you the information to my dealerships service center (just PM me) because I don't know the part or part number. My dealership didn't take me seriously at first because they just see me as some 25 year old kid. I told them to handle the recalls on my 2020 AT4 and run diagnostics and software checks to see if they could find the issue. They did according to them and my truck has been at the dealership for almost a month. If your dealership doesn't take your vehicle in and you don't get them to look at the issue you might not be able to Lemon Law the vehicle which is very important to protect yourself as a consumer!
  6. Sadly my dealership and GM know the part, I just haven't asked yet. I'm not too savvy in automotive issues. All I've been told is that it is some module tied to the shifter interlock. The part went out to GM warehouses last friday and should be at my truck on Tuesday so I'll still follow up here with news and possible parts and part numbers.
  7. UPDATE: GM called me today and informed me that they now understand the issue and have determined that new modules need to be produced and will be arriving in warehouses for delivery about sometime near next week. I will get any official parts and part numbers for the community so that we can directly identify the module / part and have your dealership replace it. Once again if I have a update I will post it here.
  8. Went in today, they closed the service center early. Going in Monday and going to take my truck back. I'll put up with the issue until they get the parts.
  9. So quick update. They found the issue (last weekend) in my truck. Apparently a module that is linked to the shift interlock was faulty. Problem is my truck has been at the service center for a week and they can't get parts for any trucks due to the strike that happened. I am going to my dealership today to see if I can just take my truck back till the part comes in. They had to initiate a national search for the part and I return to work on February 3rd so I kinda would like my truck back.
  10. Truck went into service for recalls today and the park issue. The technicians found some issues in relation to the vehicle getting stuck in park. It is being escalated to GM getting involved. Will update when I have further.
  11. Well its Midnight, the 2021 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL will premier today. I am pumped. I will be adding a 2021 Yukon next to my 2020 1500 Sierra AT4. Hoping they show off a AT4 Yukon or at least multiple trim levels.
  12. I'm going to my dealership this morning. I'll come respond later with a follow up of what goes down. Edit: I took my truck to the dealership and scheduled service for the recalls, I spoke to the dealership manager and my sales guy and told them the issue. The sales guy could not get the issue to be replicated until I got into the driver seat and made it happen. The sales guy then got into the driver seat and could not get it out of park. During the service this Thursday they are going to look at the problem. They will run a full diagnostic, software updates and will be investigating to see if this is an interlock issue. When you press on the break in the 2019-2020's you are supposed to hear the click of the lock disengaging, if you don't it means that it is stuck and won't come unlocked. What ever the makes that click and disengages the lock is what is causing this issue. I will follow up again Thursday but I'm not going to have my truck torn apart for simple sensor / interlock issue. However, I won't stop fighting over this issue till its solved.
  13. Am I supposed to just walk into my dealership and demand a new steering column? lol I've had my truck 3 months and have 600 miles on it.
  14. Myself and my assistant chief are experiencing this issue. I have a 2020 AT4 and he has a 2020 ALT. Haven't found a solution yet. Sometimes I'll pull the truck into the garage and put it into park and the shifter immediately gets stuck. 99 percent of the time the truck gets stuck when starting her up.
  15. Yes, RoadShow from CNET spoke to GMC and it said that January 14th will be the reveal date. Both the Yukon and Yukon XL will be revealed. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2021-gmc-yukon-debut-features/
  16. January 14th for Yukon. Escalade will be in February.
  17. They are lying to you and must not want to correct the issue. I don't see it here...
  18. Cheapest price is $112. They turn on when you turn on the bed lights via the button in the cab. https://www.shopchevyparts.com/bed-products/2019-sierra-1500-multipro-tailgate-step-lighting-set-two-led-lights/84347814-p-92301001.html
  19. Dealership installed the Kicker Audio System but cut corners and decided not to install the lights. (Many dealers do this apparently) I didn't really care for the system but if they put it in there and I have it... I wanted the lights. So I bought the multi-pro tailgate lights kit and popped the lights out of the frames and put them in the kicker system.
  20. My lease honestly wasn't good at all. Sadly I won't disclose the numbers because I will catch some serious flak for what I put as a down payment because it happens every-time I discuss it. My payment is $420 a month. That includes Taxes, Paint and Wheel protection. MSRP: $65,525 Final Price was about $59,000 after discounts. 12k Miles a Year. 36 month term. I'm 25, single with no kids or a family working in a high paying industry so I felt like I could dump cash into something I truly wanted. If you want exact numbers, go ahead and message me. Just prepare yourself before hand haha.
  21. In with the new AT4 out with the old All-Terrain. Definitely a major upgrade from last generation. (Ignore the mess, house just got hit by a really bad storm)
  22. A note I forgot to add technology wise...my AT4 came with the Kicker audio system in the tailgate. I did not want this but they gave it to me for free. They also didn't put in the tailgate lights into kicker audio system so I had to order them myself and I'll be putting them in next week. Unless you are a tailgater for sports or whatever (I'm not) then I don't recommend the $600-$800 that this thing costs.
  23. Dang that's a shame. The trucks are beautiful, if I ever had a reason to buy one I would deck it out.
  24. I assume you mean for the 2500 & 3500? My 2020 Sierra 1500 AT4 has adaptive cruise. Did they not put it into the 2500s?
