    On my 2016 Silverado, I discovered they have to slide forward before they come out. I used a heavy trim tool to pry them toward the front of the vehicle and they popped out with a bang. Not certain Yukon and Silverado consoles are the same, but this is the only page I could find on google that described the problem, so I thought I'd just post a reply here.
