  1. I’ve found a few other videos and yes they i6 is very smooth and the power is instant. Once guy took off from a stop and looked moving.
  2. He said that the chains don’t need to be touched and the belt is serviced by backing the trans off a little and removing a plate not very hard. At 150k the min you could run the belt longer her said but 150 is recommended.
  3. Great engine video on OP check it out
  4. Get the Nitto’s they will last a long time it’s one of the best in the rain and off road it will actually work. It’s not crazy loud on the road and they come In more sizes the most other brands. It’s down to Nitto and the big brother named Toyo for truck tires that work On and off road.
  5. From 0-60 460tq and a turbo boosting 43psi in a 5000lb truck it’s gonna take off lol It has sport mod for a reason?? but really it’s gonna pull fine too 80mph now 60-120 probably isn’t super fast but it’s not really suppose to do that haha Anthis is just me thinking but the turbo must be a decent size to get 90% power at under 1500rpm then keep that power all the way to 3.75k rpm
  6. Here is some more “engine” info. 43.5 psi she got a strong block that’s for sure. Idk 100% but that’s the highest stock psi I have heard of? https://www.google.com/amp/gmauthority.com/blog/2019/06/gm-provides-more-detail-on-the-2020-chevrolet-silverado-3-0l-duramax/amp/
  7. Yes me too mabe 2022 depending how the 6s runs I guess over time. 10 speed is definitely going to happen it will be both gen’s go to trans think how much Time that saves. which is why I think that might be the gasser to get. Mabe they even put the 6.6 gasser in the 1500 haha But that’s a real long shot, be cool tho.
  8. Yes with more gears everything is better for towing having a 6.2 with a 6 speed would probably drive me crazy like our Ford work trucks when I have to tow with those once in awhile. I’m wondering how the 6.6 gasser 10speed in the HD trucks will do I haven’t seen toe ratings
  9. Exactly 1/2 the mpg and I’m guess you were towning less then 10k? Get 1 yard of material in the back of that truck and it will do the same. You load up that diesel bed and your might lose a couple mpg not 1/2 and your diesel truck will pull you around traffic better then a gasser with a load. I town stuff at 65-70 I don’t have time for gasser to pass people with a load lol
  10. Yeah but diesels tow better and get better mpg while towing/cruising. I’m a turbo/gas guy but the i6 just has me interested
  11. These guys are not my favorite BUT there is a little info in here and they said they are going to be driving the i6 In the middle of June and will give a full review.? edit For engine info link This video really tells you about the engine and everything that goes into it. It even showed me a few things I didn’t know and I’m excited to get this engine tune and deleted when I can? https://www.google.com/amp/gmauthority.com/blog/2019/06/gm-provides-more-detail-on-the-2020-chevrolet-silverado-3-0l-duramax/amp/
  12. I agree. All new truck you think they throw a all new set of shocks on their “off-road” model and mabe even a different set up on their Rst. Rancho shocks are nothing special they have Been on trucks off the lot over 10 years now. Obviously it’s to keep price down. But anybody that cares that much will just swap it out for a aftermarket setup. Same reason why I’m getting a RST I’ll throw my own lift and wheels on after i buy it. I wanted a TB when they 1st announced it but I figured what’s the point it’s gonna get swapped out anyways?
  13. New truck with new tires are so slick and the car wash dude there probably got overspray tire shine on them so they need some road time. Psi was probably way to high and with no weight in the back you were riding balloons. I’m not a fan of any stock suspension, Basically The truck is set up for older people to enjoy the truck too. If it’s not comfortable the old boys paying 75k are not gonna ride it so they try to compensate and give it the old school float feel haha
  14. Yes awesome post pics when she’s in!!!
  15. 100% your truck should be YOUR truck. I can’t leave anything alone I make my stuff look the way I want for me not any other reason haha I don’t even drink beer unless it’s a social Event lol I save so much money I dont drink coffee beer, smoke or chew pretty much my only vice is car/truck parts. The best thing about car parts you can always sell them for somthing? can give beer back lmao. People die when I tell them my custom tail lights are $700 but they will go out and blow money on other things they want and don’t even need or can’t resell or mabe it’s just a bad habit. It’s all preference.
  16. Yeo you could just do this!! It goes pad/rotors(mabe even another type of fluid if needed). Then you go for a brake kit that fits your needs of the pads don’t cut it. A lot of the time pads really help most people stock pads are sometimes more for noise and longevity, you get some nice pads it’s a world of difference!
  17. I fee you man! I have alllll my stock parts for my car I’ve had it 6 years. I’ve replaced everything but the motor and transmission. I have a $2000 turbo sitting in my garage for a over a year just cause the cars my DD and I NEVER get a chance to tear into the car for 2 days swapping out for a better transmission and installing the Trubo? But when I get a truck the cars getting set up!! My mod’ing addiction is bad as well? But I’m 28 with no kids and single Atm so let the good times roll?? just bought a 2019 Husky 300TPI last month and need something to haul it in??
  18. Those are sick! I agree if you can match the rears you should! Yah 10k is some cash but if they work better and could save your life then fu@k the cash! If I can set the rears up like this on my truck I’m going to for sure lol
  19. My 2900lb Cobalt SS has 4 piston brembo calipers from GM so I bet their not much bigger then my little cars?. I haul stuff work work all the time anywhere from 3-15k lbs and I know that stock calipers on trucks are a joke with big loads. So if the 6.2 can haul 13.5k in 2020 those brakes are gonna get wore out so damn fast just cause there not “hauling big load brakes” since 70% of people don’t haul more then groceries in their trucks these days? I just want them for the safety too big brakes better stopping power people can’t drive these days if my brakes save me from a wreck cause of some jack ass hitting the wall/ or a deer jumping out that’s 2k well spent! Haha See that’s why I’m talking about!!!! Let the T1 mod’ing start!! Lifting your truck is cool and a must, but I like this kinda thing better brakes and more power! 5500 isn’t too bad if you get calipers/rotors/pads! I’m sure the GM kit would work fine for awhile and look good but yes this is definitely something to consider! Mabe get the GM kit then when it comes time to do a brake job just grab these bad boys! That’s 1 reason why I wanted bigger rims for a bigger calipers. The trail boss 18’s just didn’t make it haha 18’s just seem small on these trucks anyway to me!
  20. Front brakes are probably over 80% your stoping power so I don’t reallly care about the rears.! My main thing is I love upgrading cars making them fast and look good ect. This will be my first truck that I’m gonna have for awhile and bigger tires on 20’s just seems like bigger brakes would help and look better. I’m gonna trubobswap the i6 when the warranty is up anyways. I’m just being compliant with the warranty and still upgraded my rig haha. My heart broke the other day when the i6 got delayed??
  21. Yes this kit! They do look pretty good! I think I’m gonna order some! To me stopping power is comes right after horse power hahah. Befor the i6 delay was announced the other day I build a RST FULLY loaded with everything I could want and with the brake kit it was like 56kish. So with the i6 option it be just about 59k. I have a Cobalt SS with brembo brakes from the factory having them match on my truck would be pretty sweet to Lol.
  22. Any pics of the calipers?? For 2k they better be pretty beefy. I kinda want them but want to hear from anybody that already has a set on the truck.
