I am glad there are still more rubber fans out there instead of skinny tire fans! I love my 17" rims and more rubber!

Why leave the air dam??? I took mine off because I went down a simply dirt road that had some very simple wash outs on it and that dang air dam was hitting everywhere!!! I am stock height. I would think once you level or raise the truck up at all, the air dam is doing nothing but getting in the way of any approach angle and making the truck look lower! At stock height I can see it maybe adding 0.01 MPG to the truck.

After 15 years of having a camper shell on a truck, I purchased a new GMC Sierra and couldn't hold out any longer on having an open bed! My wife didn't want a camper shell again because she couldn't see very well out the back when she drove it. Which is rare I might add. But you know the old saying! So I searched high and low and found a 3 month old take off from someone that downsized trucks and found a complete hardcover Undercover Elite tonneau cover. At first I wanted a folding or roll up to be able to use the whole bed. But then I saw how easy it is to take this Undercover off and it only weighs 65 lbs or so. Simply un-screw two mounting points by hand and off it comes along with flipping a switch on each ram and they pop right off too. In less than 2 minutes, the top is off with no help!!! Loving being able to keep stuff dry and locked again.

Yes you do!!! That was a must!! I had a 2WD truck for a while and I needed 4WD more than I could count. Got my 2WD stuck so many times. Better tires/level/lift and bumper winch are in the furture to keep me from ever needing to be pulled out again! And best of all, it's a manual transfer case! I hate push button 4WD.

Brand new to the world of GM and brought home my bone stock 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 base model this past weekend. I've owned Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge etc... It was new, never titled and used as a service loaner. So I'm the first registered owner, but it has a few thousand miles on it. Got a great deal on it! Now the fun begins to make it my own!
