  1. I’ve had mine on since 2020 and over 55,000 miles and zero issues.
  2. Love my 2020 AT4 but never liked the blah interior. I’ve seen some videos on TikTok of people putting bigger vertical screens in their Silverado/Sierras. Has anyone done such an upgrade? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you, Marc
  3. Thank you for the response!
  4. I finally need to replace the crappy Goodyear tires and was looking into TOYO Open Country A/T III's. I also see TOYO Open Country H/T which are basically the highway version of the A/T's. Has anyone used either? The Goodyear road noise was insane from about 30,000 on... currently at 54,000 miles. I'd like a much quieter tire as my truck is basically the family vehicle when going on long road trips but I'm torn as I'd also love a good tire for the North East snow. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated as I'm not a tire guru... lol.. Also, the A/T tires have many different options and the distinction between them seems to be the load... any with knowledge of that too? They go up in charge by about $5, $10, $15 each for the different load ratings.... TIA! Marc
  5. Thanks! That’s exactly how I was thinking of putting what I bought.
  6. Do you have pics of where you installed yours? Which size did you use? I bought two different sizes and was planning on putting some at the top of the spoiler and at the top of the window frame, but thinking I'll skip the window frame.
  7. Hmmmm, ok thx! When it gets warmer maybe I’ll look at them, I do my own brakes.
  8. Rear brake squeak? Can you tell me more? I have a 2020 AT4 with about 14,500 on it and I've noticed that especially in the morning just coming to a stop my brakes are squeaking and that doesn't seem right to me. What did they do?
  9. 2020 AT4 here with allllllmost 15,000 miles. Bought it new back in November of 2019. Only issue has been the leaking rear window and just recently got it back and for now it's fixed. This wouldn't be a deal breaker for me as I LOVE this truck. The exterior styling is, for me, phenomenal. The interior has great bells and whistles as I bought it fully loaded and my previous ride was a 2010 Wrangler. I'd definitely buy this truck again in a heart beat!
  10. Curious if anyone has installed a train horn in their Sierra? If so, which one? Where did you install on the truck? Cost? I'm not looking to spend a few hundred to a few thousand for a horn as much as I'd love to, I can't afford that... Thanks in advance...
  11. Have them check the clips for the spoiler. Here is a pic of before (on my truck) and the “new” style clips GM is sending out with a gasket. Hopefully it’s as simple as that and not the window...
  12. Meaning you purposely flipped it and stuck it to the cover?
  13. Thanks everyone for their input and ideas. Install was easy. I opted, for now that is, to install the front bulkhead gasket. I will probably take it off as it didn't stick very well either and I can see what you all said about leaving it off.
  14. Hahaha, I’ll be down on Sunday so I can install my cover... it’ll be a while because it’s roughly an 18 hour drive from CT
  15. Ok great, thx! Also thx to the previous poster that mentioned the seal....
  16. So don’t put the seal on at all? How does it keep water out? I’m confused...
  17. Great idea, thx
  18. Thanks everyone, some great info! I’ll give it a shot even though it’s gonna be 35 degrees.
  19. I'll be finally getting the BakFlip MX4 on Friday... was "thinking" of installing this weekend. For those of you that have installed one, is it a smart idea to install when it's cold outside? I'm thinking it might not be a good idea as the seals won't be as flexible if it was warmer out and that I should wait a few months for that to happen.
  20. No, my third time the drips were pretty minor and just dripped on the top of the seat....
  21. Just talked with the "new" dealership dealing with my truck after the last dealership nightmare of two tries.... last night I texted him that I would like the TSB performed regardless of what his glass guy finds that is causing my leak. I told the previous dealership that TWICE because it was already taken apart so they might as well do it. The first time they replaced the entire thing, didn't do the TSB... the second time they "resealed" it, didn't do the TSB... this new dealership texts me back today and said they already performed the TSB and sent me a pic of the sealant on the top AND said that the window wasn't causing the leak but that the clips holding that stupid spoiler was where it was coming in. He sent me a pic of the old style yellow plastic clip and said they changed styles... all GMC did was add a gasket... and sent me a pic of the new clips they were installing. When I get my truck back I will wait a bit and see if it leaks... if it doesn't then I will add the tube gasket I mentioned in a previous post here to the spoiler gap on top and to the gap between the spoiler and the window frame. HOPEFULLY, I will finally be done with this....
  22. Going in for a third time this Tuesday, this time to a different dealer. Bringing it to the dealer I actually bought the truck from. GM also contacted the dealer on my behalf. Gotta say, they've actually been on top of the dealers to get this resolved. We shall see....
  23. Made my appt with a second dealer, actually the dealer I bought the truck from in the first place, for next Tuesday... this will be my third try at fixing this leak... should be fun...
  24. Search Trim-lok on Amazon... it’s where I got it. I ordered 1/4” tube and 3/8” tube... it’s just the round core tubing... see pic
  25. Well, not a great thing to find on Christmas.... window is STILL leaking. Waited until Sat to text my service advisor just to tell him that it’s leaking again and his glass guy sucks not just because it’s still leaking but also because he got caulk smeared on the glass and the plastic by the slider. I scrapped it off the glass but still.... what’s worse is that BOTH times I told them to do the TSB while everything was apart and neither time did they do it. I’m not happy. Told him I’m not going back to him because they can’t seem to do their jobs right as I had a few other issues with his tech on top of leaking twice now as their “glass guy” can’t get it right. Going to try one more time with the dealer I actually bought the truck from and explain everything to them. IF I actually get a truck back that doesn’t leak I will then install the trim-lok I bought above the glass and at the top of the spoiler gap. Hopefully I will be good then. I’ve also contacted GM as I’ve been in contact with them for over 6 months throughout all of this to keep a record, for whatever that will do for me. we shall see.... still LOVE my truck though and know that all of the “big three” have issues with their trucks/vehicles....
