  1. My 02 frame is in great shape....and the DRL's work....plenty of room down south.
  2. It helps when you get 12V to that remote control module....lol
  3. I had just noticed that the TBC fuse fed power to both the BCM and the remote control door lock receiver and thought that could be a damn good possibility. I'm glad I could help you out.
  4. Here's some interesting reading from a pissed off owner.... http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/general-motors/gm-passlock-ii-system-has-major-inherent-design-flaws-20080502119601.html
  5. Yea you may be unable to program it due to the issue w/ the passlock system....I've read a little about bypassing it but I can't really offer any advice on it at this time. You'd be best off doing some searching about the subject. I'm going to go back and do a little more reading on the system....the bad part is that you can't hardly do dick as far as troubleshooting unless you have a tech2. Just for kicks check fuse "TBC" (10a) in the underhood fuse panel and fuse "IGN 1" (10a) in the panel left of the dash. They both send 12V to the BCM. I'm sure you've checked but make sure those battery cables are in good condition as well. I don't doubt the Autotel is a decent scan tool but I don't think there is a hand held unit out there that will read the body control module codes but I could be wrong. BTW.....if I open the door to my truck the security light is flashing....when i put the key in the run position all i have is a battery light. For whatever good that may be LOL.
  6. Naaa...when is the last time it worked? Battery? Had any ignition cylinder problems?
  7. Is the security light blinking all the time?
  8. Here you go fobsync.pdf fobprogram.pdf fobsync.pdf fobprogram.pdf fobsync.pdf fobprogram.pdf fobsync.pdf fobprogram.pdf
  9. Did you try to reprogram it? That battery must have gone to absolutely zero while it sat there.
  10. The code scanner you have is probably unable to read BCM codes and since that is specifically listed in the relearn procedure it may be causing you some issues. Where's Rob when you need him the most? I'll do some more digging but in the meantime how about going through the events that lead to this problem one by one again. -truck was running fine before it sat up for a couple of months -broke into the passengers door (battery was dead) That's the type of thing I'd like to see....include anything and everything that happened during that time frame.
  11. I wonder if having DTC's stored in the BCM might be causing you some problems.....hmmm.
  12. Is this the relearn procedure you've been trying? Time required, approximately 30 minutes. 1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged. 2. Use the scan tool to clear the DTCs. 3. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the CRANK position allowing the vehicle to try and start. The vehicle will start and then stall. 4. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position while observing the security indicator. 5. When the security indicator turns off, which can take up to 10 minutes, turn the ignition switch off. Wait 10 seconds. 6. Repeat Steps 3-5 2 more times (3 times total). The BCM and the PCM/VCM will learn the new code on the next start attempt.
  13. A little "googling" the codes above seem to indicate that your truck has had the airbags deployed in the past.
  14. Not sure just yet.....I'm not seeing the relationship of you breaking into the door w/ having a Passlock issue. Breaking in will activate the Content Theft Deterrent system (horn sounding/lights flashing). The Passlock & Content Theft Deterrent systems are both part of the Theft Deterrent System. Something else had to have happened. I'm going to have to do a little more reading to see if I can come up w/ ideas. There does seem to be an ignition switch disarm function. Let's see if we can figure out how to reset that.
