I have an issue with the 4wd on my 04 silverado. It seems to switch from 2wd to 4wd hi completely on its own while I'm driving. When this happens, usually around 30 miles into my drive, it cannot be switched back into 2wd until the truck cools down for about an hour. I have replaced the control switch with no change. I seems that it may be related to the air temperature, the warmer it is outside, the quicker it shifts into 4wd. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
