That is an infotainment update WILL NOT fix a software issue with the truck

I can also guarantee your dealership did not do PIT5728B after doing the initial recalls. I was without my truck for a month waiting for this to be remedied. Have them do the above TSB I've had my truck back almost 2 weeks and no issues with remote or app starts since. Anyone with issues prior to the recall will still probably have issues and my guess is defect parts. I had issues after the initial recall both starting it with the app and key fob remote start. No issues since PIT5728B was preformed to my truck.

Will do. Not going to lie I've app started it a handful of times, but mostly just remote for now, but so far so good

Day 3 of PIT5728B being done to my truck after the initial brake recall and app/remote starts caused it to have all the warnings and diminished braking. So far so good, my dealer has been amazing I was in a loaner a month while this was being figured out. I recommend everyone with the issue bring the TSB to their dealer's attention

Just wanted to update truck was at dealer for a month, same error msgs and brake issues at start up after an app or remote start we've all posted about. Had them do PIT5728B and so far no issues with app or remote starts. Feel nice to have my truck back after being in a base equinox for a month

Man I hope your dealer is correct, but I'm still being told mine needs the master cylinder and module. I'm going to take it back though if GM releases a fix, as my issues were when I started the truck with the app after the recall was preformed

Upsetting... I'm sure you didn't use the app to start ? guess I'll leave my truck sit waiting for parts

Truly think it's a software issue with remote start using both app and fob after recall was done. Both of my failure were after a fob start and an app start. I just want GM confirmation on this before I go get my truck and deal without remote start until a software fix is out. Have a case opened with customer care suppose to get a call back tomorrow we shall see. I miss my truck

Do not think this is true, I have always been given the option and had to sign a paper if I declined. The brake recall is the first recall I've EVER done and boy do I regret it. 3 weeks now without my truck that before the recall had 7,300 problem free miles

There's no fix yet as far I I'm aware please follow the 2 new recalls thread. Mine started doing this after having the recall done and has been at dealer a week, service bulletin from 12/20 says to clear codes but if it happened again they don't currently have a fix
