    2020 3500 HD , pick-up camper Ditto! Same issue here! I purchased the rear trailer camera to mount on the back of my camper, but, it will not work either with the tailgate camera unplugged. Probably would have been a deal breaker had I known the cameras go inop when tailgate is disconnected.
