I went for the alignment without the spacers. I put my winter tires on which I dont need the spacers with them.

The only thing different is I have 1.5 inch spacers when I am on my summer tires. I dont need them for my winters. I know they are a little hard on the suspension. But didn't think they would go this quick. I am still on my original break pads. But will likly have to do them in the spring.

I have a 2020 silverado, and I just replaced the driverside front cv axle. Went to get alignment, and they say I need lower ball joints. I'm not surprised since my summer tires that I just took off showed signes of wear on the inner tire. I drive mostly highway, with 137 k on the truck. I feel that it is early to replace ball joints. Does anyone else have issues with this?

I just posted a thread on this sounding like the exact same issue. I never wanted to take it to the steelership for these exact reasons. And I am out of Warrenty.

Since new I have had a whistling/metal rubbing coming from my left front tire used to only happen when I was driving 40 k to 80k/h. Now happened all the time from 40k/h and up. Goes away in 4wd. And comes right back in 2wd. I tried the usual test for a wheel bearing and seems fine. I now have 130k on the truck. Brakes will need to be done soon. I was planning on doing them when I switch back to winters. Any ideas?

I have bought my truck brand new. Not long after I notice a whistling/ rubbing sound. Pretty faint but I can hear it. It is fairly consistent. In between 20 and 80 km/h in 2wd. As soon as I switch to 4wd it goes away. When I switch back to 2wd it will gradually come back. Sounds like it is in the front end. I now have about 80 k on the truck. Anyone else have an issue like this? Any idea what it is?

I bought OEM sensors online had them installed into aftermarket wheels. I have driven about 60K with them. I tried the relearn in the truck (turn it on, go to TPMS section of the DIC put it into learn mode and done the procedure of releasing air and re inflating) with no luck. I have not got the re learn tool yet. They are the 433mhz. part number 13516165. Do I have the wrong ones? or do I need the tool to have the sensors program?

Any idea on if spacers will void the factory warranty? I need to put probably a 1.5 in spacer in to use my fuel maverick tires. I plan on using my factory tires as winter tires and when I put them back on in the fall I may take out the spacer. Just use it for my summer tires.

I am not sure if I am straying too far off the subject or not. I get you have to use android auto and plug it in for the maps, But I noticed you can get the Navigation SD cards. If you get one and just plug it in, will you now have navigation? even though the navigation package didn't come with the vehicle? Or is there other programming you have to do?
