then I ordered the switch bezel for models with the factory brake controller (GM Part #22830877). I used a dremel to cut out the opening to accommodate the switch plate. It all took me about 90 minutes to complete.
Installed my Curt brake controller today. Ordered the bezel that was made for the factory controller, used a Dremel to cut the opening bigger and this is the result. I’m happy with it.
20" oem polished aluminum wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner 275/60r20. These were brand new takeoffs from a 2019 that I picked up for $1400 with lugs & TPMS included.
Actually did this on Thursday, but I finally mounted my 20 inch GMC wheels on my LTZ. Glad I got the oem polished wheel instead of a reproduction chrome. Of course it had to start pouring down rain as soon as I finished. Guess I should be glad that the rain did wait until I was finished.
Just picked up my 2015 Silverado LTZ on Monday, I'm also curious how I can add this to my truck. It seems the more I read on it the more confused I become.
This guy has the harness for the OEM boards, maybe he can hook you up with an installer, the ink below is for a 2014 - 2015 Silverado, he has a harness for the 2016 - 2018 also.
