Thank you! It’s a 2000 SS with forged 370, F1A-94 procharger, powerglide transmission. It was my first time taking it out with the new setup. Ran mid 9’s. I was having converter issues though. I’ll be back soon to try it out again.
Yes, I transferred the letters over. You have to remove the “silverado” letters on the lower left and any letters you may have on the lower right to put this cover on. I had ordered OEM gloss black “silverado” letters from eBay and spaced them out in that blank area. So the cover does come blank but I decided to put the letters on there and leave the way it comes (Matte black) instead of painting it. I’m sure you can go a cheaper route and just plastidip your current letters.
Installed Recon tail lights and Air Design hood scoop. Did this about 2 weeks ago but we’ve had so much rain in Houston. I finally had time to wash it today.
316hepster, sorry for the delay. I finally got around to installing them earlier today. Love the way they look. I will not be driving it much this week but I will be going on a 10 day trip next weekend. So I’ll be putting about 1k miles on it. So I will get back to you and let you know how they work out for me. Hopefully they don’t end up on the side of the highway. Haha!
Found a mint condition dual exhaust bumper. I installed it and installed the powder coated tips I had already. Simple swap, it looks much better now. I took it to the exhaust shop today to reroute the exhaust.
This is good info....my install kit does have the double sided tape. Hopefully this is the fix because these are the only flares in the market that I like. I appreciate the update!
These are the ones I installed. A lot of mids and highs but no lows. Fortunately it’s what I was looking for since I have the factory 10” kicker sub in the back.
