I WANTED the 2.7T which was a deciding factor when looking for a truck. It's literally faster than my dads 2018 Sierra with the 5.3L (ive driven my dads truck close to 1000 miles). I also have averaged 22MPG over 2500 Miles which is around 70% city 30% highway which isnt bad. The 2019 and up model year they dropped over 400LBS from the truck. Also the 2.7L by itself weighs 200lbs less then the 5.3L. The 2.7L is fine, it gets the 5300LB truck 0-60MPH in 7 seconds flat which was sports car territory in the 90's and unheard of in a truck from even a decade ago. 10 years ago the V8 silverado was putting out the same power as this 2.7 with way worse MPG. Its fine people jesus lol
