I have a 2017 Chevy 2500 series Work Truck and has a nice screen for phone, stereo etc.. but no back up camera. I recently crunched the box and now have to get a new one and a bumper--and I see that I can get a new box and bumper one for my year with the back up camera items in the tailgate and box and or bumper. So I am wondering if it is possible to do this on a CHevy Work Truck when it did not have it installed orginally in the sytem? Looking for ideas and help? Thanks Terry

Gosh I would really love to talk to you since I need to replace my 2017 Work Truck box and bumper and I really want to get the back up camera --mine orginally did not have it --but I have the screen for all the goodies inside so I can see I can buy the new box and bumper for backup camera for ony a little more., Question is--can I make this work so it looks and works like a factory back up camera and shows up on my LCD screen on the dash>?

I have a 2017 Cheverolet 2500 Series Work Truck that has a screen in the cab for all the gadgets of blutooth phone, stereo etc... the question I have is I crunched my pickup box and now needs to replace it. For a few dollars more I could get the box and tailgate with the back up camera items and I also need a new bumper, So could I add a back up camera to my system , even though I would assume the Work Truck version did not come with that from the factory?
