  1. Looks great but my passenger seat is too low and its really uncomfortable. It seems the seats from Denali/AT4/High Country are different.
  2. Does anyone know if this is a direct swap?
  3. I want to upgrade my cloth seats to leather. Will front seats/console from 2021 3500 fit a 2020 1500?
  4. Yup that fixed it. Don't know what the cause was but hopefully it doesn't happen again.
  5. I started my truck with the remote this morning and when I went to drive away the steering wheel would not turn. I have pushbutton start so no key to wiggle. The transmission unlocks properly and shifts through all the gears but the steering wheel remains locked. Any suggestions?
  6. I'm looking at replacing my rims and tires and am considering this size as its the same height but wider. Looking at using an 18x9 wheel. Will these rub on the front when turning? I have a 1" levelling kit.
  7. I got this exhaust and realized that it says it does not fit trucks with dual exhaust. Why would that be? Are the hangers in different places between the factory single outlet and factory dual outlet trucks? I have a 2020 1500 with factory dual outlet exhaust.
  8. Thanks for the detailed response that is what I was looking for.
  9. Did you figure this out? I'm looking at doing something similar but using seats from a newer truck into my 2020.
  10. Thanks for this. I was concerned that there might have been a difference in floor shape or bracketry preventing a direct swap. My truck does have powered drivers seat and both front seats are heated,so I'm hoping that wiring will connect. As for the cooling and the power on the passenger side,I'm going to have to dig deeper. Do you know of anyone who has done this swap successfully?
  11. I have a 2020 1500 SLE and have a chance to buy leather seats from a 2021 LTZ 1500.Will they bolt up? I'm hoping that this will be a bolt in. What about wiring? The seats are in another town so I have to buy just seeing the pictures.
  12. I'm looking at a set of Nitto ExoGrapplers but they only come in 10ply. How much will this stiffen up the ride of my 1500? Can I run them with less pressure when unloaded to increase ride quality?
  13. I know this forum doesn't list the 7500 series but I'm hoping someone can help. 2011 C7500 box truck, headlights come on then go off. They'll come back on after a bit. I read that there's a cct breaker in the light switch itself. I'd like to confirm or rule it out but I need some help with a wiring diagram. There's a fuse box on the passenger side dash but no cover forma guide. Has anyone seen this problem before? Any help would be appreciated. I have a clamp meter for dc as well as a decent multimeter, and am hoping to save some time by asking here first.
  14. I figured I should close the loop and say that my truck was fixed. The dealership replaced all lifters the camshaft and a few bent pushrods under warranty. The truck had 97k kilometers at the time of repair and I've decided to keep the truck and roll the dice on the next lifter failure issue. I hope I don't regret this as I will be paying for the next set.
  15. What frequency are you suggesting?
  16. I was looking at the Pulsar LT as an option to eliminate DFM. I am not looking at putting a ton of money into the engine to do this.
  17. The dealership called and confirmed that the lifters are the cause of the sound. There's also one or two bent pushrods. Parts are on order but they're being shipped to Alberta from the US. On the bright side, these repairs will be covered under warranty. On the down side, I'm now without my truck for at least a few more weeks. I sure hope the new lifters aren't destined for the same fate. I've heard others have had the DFM eliminated to try to prevent this from happening again. Any ideas?
  18. Well today the truck started a light knock from the engine which got erratic and then set off a check engine light and some other fault warnings. I started this post because I was concerned about lifter failure and now I'm wondering if this is what is happening to my truck. Its at 97,000 kms. One of the codes was a P0301 mis fire cylinder 1. The light knocking continues and there is a random metallic knocking sound that happens. I called Road side assistance and they'll be coming to get the truck. I'll update once I hear from the dealership.
  19. Sorry I asked. I just realized they're different on the 2023s.
  20. I've seen some newer GMCs that appear to have a different headlamp than what came in mine. It looks to be the same shape but with four lamps or pods in it. My question is,are these any brighter than the ones in my 2020? Secondly if they are will they bolt into my truck? I've never been impressed with the factory lighting on this truck.
  21. What concerns me is there have been several trucks in my town that have had failures at higher mileage with some being right around the 100k km mark which in Canada is the end of the powertrain warranty.
  22. I have a 2020 SLE 5.3 with roughly 75k kms on it. I've been hearing a lot about imminent lifter failure and am wondering if this is just specific to a batch of trucks or if it will likely happen to me. I have read a few posts on here but was curious if there's anything listing how many members have had a failure and at what milage it has happened. Any info you can shed on this will be appreciated.
  23. Merry Christmas. I went out today and confirmed that my block heater is pooched. The wiring behind the plug in the bumper is accessible by removing some T15 screws from the inner fender and bending it out of the way. There's still a bunch of plastic in the way but a person can at least see the wiring and the thermostat After this it runs out onto the frame and then over to the block heater. There's a metal clip that has two locking tabs which need to be released in order to unplug the cable from the block heater itself This was pretty challenging for me at least but I used two picks to hold the clips back to get the plug out. There is an open circuit between the two leads on the heater so it's done. Kind of bummed out that this has happened on a 2020 after my bumper to bumper warranty has expired. Plus its -35 outside so that doesn't help. On the bright side a block heater should be fairly cheap
