Just purchased my 21 Denali 1500 with the 6.2. We only have 91 octane available, but owners Manuel says 93, what do people do? Octane boosters or just use 91? I have been reading about the DFM issues and how important it is to do regular oil changes and the correct fuel so there is no combustion problems. Not sure if it matters but the truck is stock, no mods and live in Winnipeg Canada with freezing cold winters for 3-4 months of the year. I was thinking of using octane boosters to achieve the 93 recommended level.
thoughts anyone?
