    94 chevy 1500 4x4 truck was overworked by neighbor pulling trailer up hill. it downshifted to first and would never leave first after that. reverse or first. transmission rebuilt and then starts out in second and shifts to 3rd but no first and 4th gears. no codes. shop tried different case, valve body, solenoids, harness, computer, same thing. someone mentioned possibly some gizmo behind dash that converts analog speedometer to digital signal to transmission? any ideas?
