  1. Heard the same thing about running above idle to test. Seems like "testing in production" to me, which is really the best way in many cases. Problem is once they've rolled off the line, then the lot, costing the customer money, time, and risk that could be avoided. General waste for everybody involved. A good step, but would hope/think there would be a better way to identify which plants/batches installed in what engines and could be dealt with proactively. Cost of doing business, I guess.
  2. Date on truck, per dealer. If that is when it came off the line then even more disappointed. Not convinced problem is isolated, but don't have much to go on, either. Hence, trying to educate myself.
  3. 10/31 build date on 2021 AT4 6.2L. been in shop for three weeks and counting while they "figure it out." There are more out there. Happened to my cousin's neighbor... tow truck guy that picked mine up said he had five that week. Turn over more rocks and I guarantee there are more. Check out the 'vette forums, too.
