Thanks for the info. Yes, they worked after replacing the battery. My issue is they extend like 2 feet away from the truck. Like too far out when getting in and when getting out it is very hard. The running boards extend all the way out. Before I replaced the battery they came out just enough away from the truck that the running boards stuck out, not all the way out like they do now. It is weird because I wouldn't think this is how they should extend, they are way out away from the truck. Also, after I replaced the battery when I had them turned on I would open the door and they would extend. I would get into the truck and they would close. Then they would open out again and close. Not sue why. I thought there might be a setting or way to program them to extend a certain distance out since before I replaced the battery they came out perfectly and closed properly.

I have a 17 GMC Denali with the Tri-Mode Running Boards. Replaced the battery and the boards come out like a foot away from the truck, very far when trying to get in and out. Before replacing the battery they came out almost flush with the truck so I think there is some sort of programming to set them on how far they come out? I just can't find anything about it, maybe I am overlooking but I haven't. Any help would be great.
