  1. So I’ve been connecting the truck to my phones hotspot to allow me to use Google Maps. After a recent radio update that was pushed to my truck OTA, I can no longer connect to my phone’s hotspot. The truck will show all kinds of available connections, but not any phone connections. I assume this is GMs way of trying to force people to purchase their WiFi. Is anyone else having this issue?
  2. I had this same issue back in May. 2023 2500 with 21k miles. I was on a 31-day camping trip pulling a 5th wheel camper. I was only on day 4 of the trip and 1000 miles from home and the CEL and reduced power message came on. Dealership diagnosis was it needed a new valve body. Parts on nationwide backorder and any dealership that did have the part wouldn’t let it go because they had trucks lined up waiting on the same thing. I was forced to trade in the truck, or cancel our big vacation and figure out how to get my camper and fam back home. GM was no help. Like another post mentioned, they were still rolling out new trucks which means parts are available on the assembly line. But GM seems to prioritize new sales over keeping existing sales road worthy. I lost $27k in the deal in order to get back to a similar monthly payment due to a crappy trade in value and no discounts. GM gave me $500 in GM reward points and like $250 worth of on-star package extensions “for my inconvenience”. They could have offered new trucks which means rebates, loaner vehicle, or found the parts. It was a disappointment. I wrote a complaint letter the GM as well, but never received a response. I will likely swap away from GM on my next truck because of this crap, which generally happens every 2-3 years. My new 24 model gets worse mileage. I mean it’s a big diesel so I’m not expecting high mpg, but geez it gets lower and lower with every new design. That’s completely backwards on how it should be. I’m getting 13.5 mpg in my ‘24 where I was getting around 16 mpg in my ‘23…same route to work. And was getting even better in my 2018. Regens every 150-170 miles. It’s crap. Do better GM.
  3. I get crap mileage too. I went from a 2023 2500 L5P to a 2024 3500 L5P. My same 30 min drive to work everyday I used to consistently get 18mpg and now I get 14-15mpg. Regens are also substantially more frequent. I recently installed a Banks iDash which displays the mileage between regens. I get 150-170 miles between regens. For my last 5 tanks, I consistently average 13.5 mpg for the whole tank. Its very disappointing that GM is driving mileage down as these vehicles get newer and more advanced.
  4. Dumb response. I’d love the OEM headlights but the $4-5k it costs is not reasonable for alot of folks. Bulb replacements increase the safety factor quite a bit. If anyone is being cheap it’s GM by putting these crappy dull halogens in these trucks. Ghetto Bandaid or not, it’s an improvement. Morimoto may be cheaper than the OEM conversion but still not worth it when you can achieve the same benefits for 5% of the cost.
  5. Recently changed up my stance. Bottom pic is the before. It was lowered 1-1.5” on 22s using Belltech adjustable lowering struts in the front and drop shackles in the rear. Top pic is current with a 6” RC lift w/ Vertex shocks and 35” tires.
  6. I think these 1.25” spacers that I got because these older OEM 22s would clear the caliper.
  7. 35x12.50R20 Toyo R/T 20x9 ProComp Series 40 w/ -12 offset 6” Rough Country lift w/ Vertex shocks
