  1. I know this is an old thread but maybe the author still looks at it. Where did you make the little tape dams at on the window? and did you have to torque the spoiler bolts down? if so do you remember the torque ratings? Plan on trying this soon hopefully it goes smooth
  2. Thank you for the reply, The brakes should be in good shape I only have 20K on the truck. The U-bolts were new but i'm ordering a new set just for peace of mind. I'm going to swap tires this evening and try it. If that don't make a difference i guess i will take the block out and try it. I think i can get away reusing stock U-bolts for that just to trouble shoot and order new bolts accordingly. I wouldn't think that would change the angle enough to cause the vibration but I could be wrong. Could the transmission cause a vibration like that.
  3. I have a vibration that i mostly feel in the seat at around 40 and up. Strange thing is some days its better than others but its been there a while. I've got newer toyo at3 tires stock size p rated that were just rebalanced a few days ago. Also i have an 1 in block lift with 5100 bilstein shocks. Vibrations seems to have started around 2000 miles ago Have any of you experienced this or have any suggestions on what to trouble shoot? Im thinking its the rear because I dont feel it in the steering wheel. 2020 rst 5.3 8 speed
  4. I have the 5100s on my rst with the 20 inch wheels and to me the ride is stiffer. I feel more road imperfections than with the ranchos but i think the handling is more stable imo. when i would go down the backroad I live on with the rachos it felt like the backend was getting a little loose. I dont have that with 5100s
  5. I love the at4 unfortunately they were no where to be found when I had to get my rst
  6. In hind side I should’ve got LT tires instead of p rated. Just didn’t want to run the added weight. I don’t tow anything more than a zero turn. When these wear out I’m going e rated lol
  7. Thank you!
  8. Any one here running the 115t at3 here on the 20 in wheel? what tire pressure are you running? I got some on my truck and they look a little buldged out at the bottom. Dont know if thats normal for these tires . Thank you If a redundent post plese delete
  9. That would be my step but I think I’ve past the date to do that in my state
  10. I have to take my truck back for the 5th time dealing with the window. They say it’s unlikely a failed window again but the symptoms are the same as before. My question is what are they investigating and has anyone had this many problems with the window. Is it a possible buy back situation? The gm field manager or something is involved as well. Had the truck 2 years 12k miles. If so how does that work? I’m new to having this level of issues with a new vehicle so I try to see what to expect. I didn’t add to the leaking window thread because of this and don’t consider it a window question
  11. How did you go about this? does the motor have to stay in the truck and cut the cables? i"m looking at a solid to put in mine.
  12. 2020 rst here. Have had 3 back sliders put in and the newest one started leaking today. I’m gonna let it go awhile then put a solid window in since it’s not to bad . It is not the spoiler but the window frame that cracks. From others on the forum the solid window fixed it
  13. Just picked mine up they got it done, 40 minute drive home and no noise at 73 degrees. Let’s hope it keeps up
  14. Been to two of them and both are pathetic. The next one is about an hour from where I live. The ford and Toyota dealership are owned by the same people. Toyota is good and the ford service dept was excellent Unfortunately I will never buy another gm product based solely on how pathetic the after purchase care has been. I’ll be calling them today to find out why the shaft has not been put in
  15. We’re you trying to write something lol
  16. Update on my rst, been in the shop for 3 weeks now waiting to get the back window and new stub shaft in. Supposedly got the stub shaft in 2 weeks ago but hasn’t been installed. Is this normal to wait to put such a simple part in when it’s been there for 3 weeks? The truck is ok but the service departments and customer service has made made regret buying a Chevy. They probably won’t change it and think I won’t notice. Any advice on dealing with crappy service departments?
  17. Thanks truck is at dealership now , was diagnosed last June. Hopefully they will fix it but I’m not holding my breath. Chevys service departments haven’t been much help to me with anything
  18. Do you happen to know the new part number? My dealers have an issue with saying they’ve never heard of the problem or tsb
  19. Where did you get the 1 in block from?
  20. Does anyone with a leveling kit have the jingle? Thinking about leveling to see if that will stop it it wit the different cv axle angles
  21. They won’t replace mine. Told me gm engineers are looking into it per the new tsb
  22. I thought about that but people are running 2.5 in leveling kits with no issue. Maybe the new angle would get rid of my axle jingle they don’t have a fix for yet lol
  23. If I bought bilstien 5100 for a trail boss and add a 2 in rear lift block to the rear wouldn’t that work the same as buy the gm kit? I know the gm kit doesn’t cone with Uca’s. Has any one done the this setup
