I figured it out. Yes, I sprayed WD-40 in the shift knob, cleaned the key. But, The answer so far is: when putting truck into park I slide my hand off the button, making it slam into park. It's only a few days, but it seems to work for now.

I have a 2018 Colorado. Many times when shutting down, the ignition key will not go all the way to the left, and is stuck in the ignition. Please help! [email protected]
