    Started with 120 grit for now. I plan on painting it tomorrow because the weather will be nice.

    Thanks! I ended up stopping there for now. ive heard of a few steering wheel swaps. Since I work for a Chevy dealership, if a nice one comes along I might think about doing a swap too.

    Picked up some 550 paracord from wal-mart. You tube has some great tutorials on wrapping stuff.

    Another weekend touch up. The steering wheel started to flake off on top. The leather I guess was just too brittle. So I pulled it off and got it ready to wrap. Here’s a before pic….

    I used mother’s red ball. It worked pretty good, oh and mothers wheel polish. I’m gonna spend some more time on them and then clearcoat them.
