100% agree, One year old 5K miles 2 oil changes so far.
2021 6.2 I was getting 18-20 around town and 23-24+ on the hiway, I added a Plusar LT to disable cylinder cancellation and only lost about 2 MPG I love having a V8 full time.
If the lid is open you should be able to re-insert the paper clip and start over. According the instructions that came with mine this is how you change to a new combination. As to the tray listed above. 1. Be sure its to not deep and sit on top of the safe, may not matter. 2. I took a dermal and cut a hole that fits around the combination dial so when looking in you don't see it.
Not sure if this is the type of remote you have..... I bought a 2021 that only had 800 miles when traded back in it only had 1 key fob. went to GM ordered a 2nd had the key cut, and programed it myself. Do a search on the web. First one that came up.
Sorry your not going to like this. I think everyone here is well aware of the issues they may have, same as any new product today.. But if your such a GM hater why stay here? Just move on. I've had my 6.2 over a year now and 0 issues and over half the miles so far have been towing 5k+ trailer.
If they did not charge you for it, I would guess your only option is to pay to have it added.
My turn again... Back to the 90s changed the front brakes on my daughter's Lumina dropped the jack jumped in to back out for a test run.... I forgot to pump them back up! stopped when I bumped the old 69 Falcon no damage love them old steel bumpers.
I got soured on Diesel when the DEF came out even your farm tractors have it now. But than you have to deal with the possible lifter issues on gas burners. All just from the government regulations and the push to go electric .
So I get in my truck this AM and it will not start, starter just keeps running. Checked everything no codes thinking at this point here we go a trip to the dealer. So what did I do last a full clean-up including removing the floor mats to clean. Well it was dark when I put them back in and I did not get the drivers side in all the way it was touching the gas pedal, Installed correctly and all is good. Learn something new everyday!!
