Hey Charlie, Completely missed this post...sorry about that...I always try to use those Craftsman pick tools....I use the straight one with the point on the end....I don't know which tool you are using but I always have trouble with the allen wrenches...are you installing the Heated Wheel also? Nah, not the heated wheel, I'm changing out the audio control switch pod on the steering wheel. I'm still waiting to see if a wheel without the wood becomes available before doing that upgrade (who knows, I might decide to get a wheel with the wood and just paint it black before next winter hits ) I'll have to give one of those pick tools a shot; I tried both an allen wrench and a piece of welding rod the same diameter as the hole in the shroud, and neither one worked on the left side clip.

OK, Travis. I was trying to get my air bag off today and the left side clip wouldn't release. Is there some trick to this I'm not doing right?

I can't believe people are so quick to go messing with the vehicle's safety systems. In this case it's probably not a big deal, but either way I wouldn't recommend it. Seriously, it's NOT that hard to be safe and wear a seatbelt when in the vehicle. Not only is it illegal not to, it could get you killed if you're in a crash without wearing one.

If you don't have a heated wheel, you'll need a new SIR coil.

$10.oo wheel cover from wally world even has grey stitching to match the all terrain dual color interior No thanks.... those look cheap as hell to me. If I could get a Denali wheel re-covered properly for not too much $$ it might be worth it though.

After I ordered my all terrain from my dealer he liked it so much thats mostly what he stocks now...although most of what he gets is the crew cab version. So I see quite a few of the All terrain pkg Sierras running around . So far my pickup is the only red extended cab around here....As for how rare they might become who knows, I guess that depends on the future of GM also. True; I'm sure it does depend on the area too. Either way, mine is also a bit odd for an All-Terrain as well -- it's a Crew Cab, but it doesn't have the two-tone leather seats, mine are solid Ebony.

Hmm... ok, that's good to know, thanks. Too bad they didn't put even the heated-only rear seats in the Sierra Denali as an option, that would be nice to have... and would make it much easier to source parts/avoid taking the seat covers off the rear seats. I guess for now that will have to stay a bit lower on my priority list. As for the cup holders, I found at least SOME additional information that may prove helpful; once the Caddy guys figure out how to swap them into a non-platinum Escalade, I would imagine doing the swap into a Chevy/GMC console wouldn't be that much more difficult. Richard, I have an 08 CC Sierra as well, but an SLT that currently has the leather with power, heat, and memory, but no cooling. I'm definitely interested in the heat/cooling mod for the front seats, but I'm also curious if it's possible on the Crew truck to upgrade the rear seat to have heat/cooling as well? That's one thing I'd really like to have for the benefit of rear seat passengers in my truck as well. Thoughts? Thanks! Also, I just looked at an '09 Escalade Platinum Edition truck at the auto show in Detroit, and I see they brought back the heated/cooled cup holders... I'm also going to be looking into doing that mod and installing them into my All-Terrain's console. Once I have that figured out I'll document it for everyone also.

I wonder how rare the current GMT900 Sierra All-Terrain will be by comparison... I know I have never once seen another one aside from mine around the area here....
