It seems to be doing ok. I've found if you take a pressure washer directly to the rim edge it will flake off. Touch-up is quick and easy though. Anytime I've been to the dealership they think its powdercoat. I'm up in new england so 3/4yr mine are covered in dirt/salt anyways. From 10ft away they look perfect, closeup you will definitely see it's not powdered. Hope this helps.

Heres what I've done to my Z71 with plastidip on the rims. Hope it helps. I do it to all my cars as I feel it just looks better then chrome.
