  1. For anyone out there in a similar situation, I figured it out -- there's a DSM fuse on the inside driver's fuse box that had blown. Nice to finally have a quick fix to something.
  2. I have a single key fob for my 2007 Silverado that has been working fine. The batteries are fine (new). I started to replace the rotting rocker panels when all of a sudden the fob stopped working. I did drill into the wiring harness on the driver side floor which stripped a few wires (but didn't break them) - I taped them all to insure nothing is shorting. Does anyone have any idea of what I can test/fix? I tried to resynch the key fob using the procedure in the manual, however, I can't get the truck to switch from displaying "RELEARN REMOTE KEY" to “REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE”. When I press and hold the odometer button for three seconds, the display blinks to black, but then returns to "RELEARN REMOTE KEY". Any advice most appreciated as this has not been a good week (or month) for me and my truck.
