I had the same problem with my 2015 Silverado. It was indeed a BAD condenser and this is a known problem but they (GMC/Chevy) will not issue a recall. I had a new condenser installed and instantly cold air again. The auto shop that I went to said they have replaced "many" Silverado's with the exact same and very expensive issue. They also said it was because of the poor design of the condenser bracket mount.
