    Mine failed at 31,000 miles. This is the second Silverado I've owned with the exact same problem. It is in the shop right now.

    I had this happen on a 2017 6.2 liter Silverado at about 65,000 miles. Dealer had to replace 4 lifters and a rod guide. So I traded that truck for a 2020 Trail Boss with a 5.3 liter engine (since my last 5.3 Silverado didnt give me any problems). The Trail Boss dropped 16 lifters, bent 2 pushrods and damaged the cams at 31,000 miles. It's been in the service shop for a month now. If anyone wants to buy it, I just put $9,000 worth of wheels, tires and 6" lift on it. It looks great but....I have to have a RELIABLE truck.
