    Finally found the following link. A GMC Service center can disable this feature, albeit at cost to owner. No details on cost of this service. Like many other responsible truck owners, I want to have full control over (and take full responsibility for) when my truck is running or stopped. I am just extremely disappointed that GM did not respect customers enough to make this feature an option the user could change. There are situations where this could be a life or death issue.
