  1. I have a 2016 Sierra 1500 Denali with the MagneRide system on it. Shocks and ride recently degraded quite a bit and these are the original shocks. So, I ordered a new set - btw, man those aren't cheap! Also needs tires soon. Everything is original as of right now. So, with already needing shocks and tires, I figured may as well do Wheels/Tires as well as a lift kit to go along with changing shocks. I had wanted to do those things at some point anyways, may as well now. My question is, I can do the work myself, but I've got a lot of time commitments currently and am considering just having a shop do it. But if the cost is outrageous, I'll just do it myself. I haven't source out work like this in years and I don't know what's reasonable and what's not, so I wanted to ask you all. What would be a reasonable installation price on a kit like this on my truck? Installation time calls for 8 hours. https://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=5&mo=1&ty=102&yr=2014-2018&kid=725H
  2. Long story short, I'm a little confused on tire sizes. I've got a 2016 Sierra 1500 Denali with 20x9's. They have 275/55/R20's right now. If I went with an 18" wheel, what size tire would give me the same overall diameter? I'm asking because as I understand it (and maybe I'm completely wrong), you cannot increase overall diameter without causing issues with speedometer, trans shift timing, etc.. So with an 18, what size tire could I put on it to get back to the same overall diameter? Thanks
  3. It looks like maybe these would be the correct P/N's? ACDELCO 84178213 (Rear) and ACDELCO 84977478 (Front)
  4. Does anyone know the answer to this possibly? Everywhere I look it seems that I can find replacement for the non magneride denali systems, but cannot find OEM magneride shocks. Just aftermarket options, which I've read have some fitment issues? Thanks
  5. Have a 2016 Sierra 1500 Denali. Have noticed lately that the ride is not great - kind of rough, bouncy, squirmy. Truck has 67k miles on it and has the original Magneride system installed. It sounds like from what everyone has said that the shocks are likely done. Question is, I'm having a difficult time finding the correct part numbers for the front and rear. Also, are they sold just as the shock, or as a complete unit, or both? Thanks
  6. Just picked up a 2016 Sierra 1500 Denali. It's in nice shape overall, but the 20" polished/clearcoat aluminum wheels are peeling the clearcoat around the valve stems on all 4 wheels. Some are worse than others. On the worse ones, the corrosion has wrapped all the way around the lip of the wheel and appears to be corroding on/near the flange and bead. I know that I cannot spot repair this, but what are my options? I do not want to buy a new set of GM wheels as I assume they will do the exact same thing. I guess I'm just left with aftermarket wheels or blasting/powdercoating these? Just curious what others do in this situation. Looks like I'm not the only one. Thanks all.
