I recently bought a used 2018 Silverado with around 92k miles. It was fine for a few weeks but the other day, I went to start it and nothing. The headlights and all of the interior electronics worked fine but the engine would not crank. I tried several times to start it then hooked up jumper cables. Still nothing. No clicking noises, just nothing. Here's the kicker though. I finally got it to start using the MyChevy app on my phone. Remote start didn't work with the key fob but it worked through my phone.
Once I got it started, I drove home. Got home, turned it off then tested cranking with the key. It started up twice with no problems. Fast forward a few days without driving it and now it won't start at all. I took the battery to the local parts store and had it tested. They said the battery is fine. Any ideas? Bad starter?
