Anyone know what the width & offset on the stock 20" TB wheel (2025 or 2026) is?
I want to put a 35x12.5x20 tire on the stock black wheels, the tire specs say max width 11" & minimum is 8.5" for the wheel. Want to ensure a safe fit.
Thanks
If there isn't a factory suspension lift, what's the big deal? Funny they'd even call it a Trail Boss. That's what a TB is, a lifted truck. I've seen that video. Hopefully more info / features to come soon that separate it from the Sport pkg.
Can someone tell me the difference in a "leveling kit" as opposed to just cranking up the existing torsions with stock keys? Most all kits I see are just keys anyway. I know to get an alignment regardless. I just swapped out my '22 3500 LT (that I turned up the torsions on with no apparent problems after 10K miles) for a '23 2500 LTZ that's still completely stock for now.
Thanks for any responses!!
I thought mine was rattling but it wasn't, turned out to be the seat belt buckle (that wasn't being used of course) occasionally hitting the side of the door.
My order was placed the first week of Dec '21. It's a 3500 gas crew LT. It's been built complete since Feb 9th.
Setting in a lot-field in Flint, MI.
I'm in MI FWIW approximately 90 miles from Flint.
Logistics are a total mess. They won't even let me go get my truck because it's contracted to be picked up by a union teamster trucking co. ....................
I know some of these things because I sell Chevys & sold this truck to myself
Sorry this doesn't answer your questions, I'm venting. Hope you get your truck soon!!
I have a '19 Custom Trail Boss. What about some 35's on my stock 18" wheels with a leveling kit? Did I miss that? I like my stock black aluminum 18's Anyone?? Thanks!!
These are the original wheels from a 2019 Trail Boss Custom. I know they are 18" but does anyone know the width, backspacing or offset? Anyone know? I'd like to get some bigger tires (35's) after having a leveling kit installed but want to stay with these wheels, I like them. I want just a "little bit" of poke but not too much. Maybe have to get different rims????
Thanks!!
Removed grill & disassembled the CHEVROLET cover piece, about 2 dozen clips & 2 7mm bolts. Took a piece of aluminum flashing, painted then sandwiched it in between. Reassembled, turned out great, I get several compliments. Took a few hrs. The good part is if I do get tired of it I can just remove the flashing & be back to stock.
